Great value for a beginners racket
I’m an advanced table tennis jock. Pure defensive players are almost non-existent, and they’re supposed to use very light weight rackets with pips out padding, that are supposed to be resistant to spin. For under $10 bucks, I was happy to give it a try. I’ll confirm that this racket is by far the lightest racket I’ve ever held, which translates to lightning fast blocks. I was surprised to find the padding quite grippy, grippier than a lot of beginner/intermediate rackets. Not necessarily a bad thing. I might have enjoyed keeping this racket in my personal arsenal of specialized rackets, but the wood was too flimsy for the kind of intense ass kicking my reputation requires. For the price, though, it can’t be beat as a great beginners racket or something you wouldn’t mind letting careless kids play with.
