Grandson smile was enough
Purchased to go on Toby Thomas The Tank train set that was our sons from 1999 passed down to his son (our Grandson) this 2024 Christmas. The train was great, fast with batteries and Grandson loved it.

Really nice quality , size really good , great for all track sets .

Thomas track.
This toy is adaptable, it can run on carpet, hard floor or track. This gives the toy a bigger range than it would do if you had to by a track over and above the train. Which is totally up to the buyer whether or not they need one.

Present for grandson
It's very colourful and I'm sure my grandson will love his present next week. Can't comment as he's not got it yet

Middling - compatibility??
So we got this and the Percy equivalent for our Thomas obsessed 2 year old. It works fine, easy to assemble and looks legit. When it says it is compatible with Brio, that is correct in a limited capacity - it can’t do humps/bridges as it’s not powerful enough, or any of the “interesting” bits of track like dividers as the wheels can’t seem to get any traction. Or indeed any shinier bits of track. Also - and this isn’t a technical issue but worth bearing in mind, it can’t fit through Brio or Bigjigs sized tunnels.
