I do alot of wire work so I though these would be a good purchase. Received the package and purchased a plastic holder that separated the different connectors. The first time I went to use these connectors, I found the sealant had leaked into the wire channels and they were totally useless. Checked several of the different size connectors and found most of them had leaked. Threw out the whole lot of them.

I purchased this kit thinking I would use once and never again. I had a contractor in refinishing floors and the telephone line was accidentally cut. The contractor "fixed" the phone line by twisting the wires together, but I wanted something more secure so I purchased this. This did the trick and saved the day a second time when we accidentally broke a phone line in the basement. I do have to be careful because the spring tends to fall out of the pliers, but for all the more often I use it, they work fine.

I found this to be very useful and easy. Up till now I have only had one plug that didnt work out of about 20. recommended

Like the fact it came with a pair of pliers. I didn't pay attention to the fact it didn't come with a case.

I use these things occasionally and i was running low - this is a nice variety at a reasonable price. The pliers were a bit of a bonus for me, I've been using regular pliers all this time. These are pretty sturdy and work well.
