"Directions: Apply dime size amount to clean skin on face and neck; do not rinse off. Use 1-2 times per WEEK until skin acclimates to nightly use." The reason? Glycolic acid. Using this product may cause a burning sensation when you first use it. My 54-year-old skin is not particularly sensitive, but I felt it. It wasn't unpleasant, but it was noticeable, and followed by a slight tightening.This product is designed to help with fine lines and dark spots. It's not a moisturizer, it smooths onto the skin versus being rapidly absorbed by the skin. It's an anti-aging treatment formula that can be used in combination with a nightly moisturizer.It comes with a small scoop applicator, but dabbing your finger into it and dotting into areas where you want to tighten fine lines or lighten dark spots would work best. Avoid your eyes as getting this in them will burn! A patch test is recommended prior to using it all over your face and/or neck.There's no particular scent to this product and in addition to 10% glycolic acid, the product contains 65% hydroponic aloe. I like it, but time will tell as to whether or not fine lines are diminished along with discoloration spots.

Note: I've been using 10% glycolic acid since 1997, and swear by it, using every night and most mornings. My skin is acclimated to 10%, do NOT use this product if you have never used any glycolic acid, start very slow and threats up over time.Started for adult-onset acne, as well as for sun damage. I used one brand because my skin is sensitive to chemicals, but that brand totally changed formula. But I also used glycolic as a moisturizer. I switched to this because the ingredient list was much "cleaner" than the other. The BIG difference is the addition of aloe. In just one week of use, I am seeing a significant improvement in the skin in my face, throat, and decolletage. I certainty did not expect that, but what I was missing was the hydration. My skin is plumper, improvement in the finer lines, and feels great. In only one week!!! I'm excited to see further improvement in my skin. I love this product, period. If you're looking for a moisturizer with glycolic, this is the holy grail.

I'm a VERY experienced skincare professional and this product does nothing. When you've been using products that are properly formulated with high-quality ingredients and actual 10% AHA content, you notice that this product doesn't. Do not waste your money.

I am very pleased with this nighttime face cream. I use it every night and look forward to putting it on. It leaves my face so soft and smooth.

Gunilla of Sweden is doing it the right way when it comes to perfecting a night cream that is effective against my fine lines and wrinkles but not to the point where my sensitive skin becomes irritated.Researching the ingredients (as I do with every product that goes on my face or into my body), there are some really solid ingredient that have been researched thoroughly and proven to be effective against pushing back time as it marches across your face. Glycolic acid stimulates collagen growth and separates the barrier between the most outer layer of the skin and the next, causing the skin to peel and exfoliate gently. Love the organic Aloe Vera, as it helps heal the new layer of skin that is exposed as the Glycolic acid works it magic by ridding old, dead skin cells. The night cream itself isn't overly thick, causing pores to clog, and glides on easily with some legit hydration action happening while you sleep. By the time you wake up (even upon the 1st application), your skin is smooth, plump, with a nice subtle glow to it.Really love this company's approach to skin care as it obviously puts the customer's welfare first and profit last. It is a bit pricey but good products normally are and you get what you pay for! Highly recommend!
