I am very impressed with this product. I purchased them to use on a large 43" x 30" map that I wanted to put up on the wall without putting a lot of pinholes in the corners. These tacks worked even better than I hoped!I used 3 tacks down each side and one centered at the top and bottom of the map. (Sorry for the poor quality of the photo, my phone and I have a love/hate relationship. ) So far, the magnetic tacks are doing a great job of holding it in place. NOTE: they are *VERY* strong magnets for their size and stick firmly together in the package. I would very be careful using them around pets or kids that could swallow them if dropped or lost!Do I recommend this product? Oh, yes, I do! If the tacks will hold this large map, then I have no doubt they are strong enough to hold posters, pictures, and probably even calendars of some sizes depending on paper thickness.Would I order this product again? Definitely. Got them in my cart to re-order right now.

I had some family photos I wanted to put on my cubicle wall but didn't want to poke holes in them. This was perfect. They are very strong - those photos aren't moving - and they will look just as good when I take them down as when I put them up.

These are fantastic!! The pin is longer than a typical push pin. It goes through my 3/4 inch corkboard and into the drywall it is mounted on, which doesn't bother me, but could be a problem in some circumstances. They are perfect for hanging photos and the kids' artwork up on the corkboard without punching holes in them. I have also used them two hang four-foot wide laminated posters up on a wall. I put a pin in each of the four corners of the posters and they are holding fine. It is so so much better than sticky tack, which I had previously hung these posters with only somewhat successfully over the long term. Whatever you hang will protrude slightly from the surface it is hung on, but I don't find it all that noticeable. I think the product gives a good, clean look to whatever you hang. I am very happy with it!

I bought a set of 8 of these to use on the scratch off world maps. I bought the largest size map that they sell on Amazon (I can't remember the exact size). I thought that I would have to use all 8 on just the one map, but they are strong little magnets. 4 of the magnets hold up this large map without any problem at all. They are very small and will make you think that they can't possibly hold anything heavy up...but they really do hold up. My son and I hung the map and started scratching off the places we had been and the magnets held up through all of that. I highly recommend.

I bought these to hang a sign on the front of a kiosk. The sign stayed intact for the first few days, but people kept bumping the magnets, and I lost too many for the sign to stay up on its own. The magnets are quite strong, but not strong enough to withstand people brushing up against them. These would be perfect for situations where people wouldn't be brushing up against the sign/poster/picture. I have some leftover and plan on using them in my office.

These magnet makers are great. I am thrilled that I did NOT have to pierce my brand new laminated map with anything because the tacks and their accompanying magnets hold my map in place. However, the hanging process did not start off as easy as I had expected. But to be fair, my NG World Map (shown above) is a large size (45” x 30”) and the map’s protective coating adds more weight and makes it more challenging to hold it in place during setup.After pushing in the first magnetic tack base into the wall, I then placed the map on top of the base and added the magnetic head on top of the map, but each time the weight of the map caused it to slide free of the magnet.After numerous attempts to tack down two corners at least, I gave in and enlisted a friend to help hold the map in place while I pushed the magnetic bases into the wall and added the mini magnet on top.It took a minimum of five tacks and magnetics before my large map would stay in place on the wall. Nevertheless, I needed all eight tacks and their magnets in the package to secure the map in place on my wall.As I cited above, I’m exceedingly pleased with how the map looks and how these magnetic tacks work. It did take more effort than I had expected, but it was a large map that I was mounting on the wall.The map has not moved or shifted at all. But it only takes a small tug from a child to shift whatever is being held and may cause the item to slide free of the embedded tack and the magnet, leaving all the magnetic heads still in their place. That’s not an issue for me, so I would definitely recommend these magnetic tacks to anyone that wants to showcase an item on a wall somewhere without damaging the item in anyway. These magnetic tacks will serve you well.

These magnets are very strong. So strong that it's hard to get them apart when taking them out of the package. On one of the magnets, I have 6 pieces of paper and it has no problem holding them. I could probably add more pages if I needed.They are perfect for my bulletin board at work. I had pictures taped to my bulletin board and the tape wouldn't always hold against the fabric of the board. These push pin magnets solved the problem! I'll be buying another package because I need more than 8 magnets!

These are a but clumsy but do work well. However, because of their cost I would not purchase them again as they only work on a specific type of need.

These are the greatest thing I got for my mini-bulletin board at home. I can put up pictures without having to poke holes in them and the magnets are strong enough to hold a photo each. The pins are a bit too long but they work just fine and don't poke into the wall behind my bulletin board. Awesome product!

Utterly brilliant invention - every pin board user must have these!! I rarely give feedback with such certainty, I LOVE these. Great firm to deal with too. Highly recommend.

I use these for pinning up postcards and patches from trips. They’re strong enough to hold a frame of 16 polaroids, but I think it depends on what your frame is made of. I only wish the pack had more.

Works well. Was pleased with the sharp tack part. The magnet comes in two parts, the pin part and a small cylinder that attaches to it. The magnet head is 6 mm in diameter.

These magnets are pretty freaking strong, perfect for not putting whole into your posters! And small enough to not really notice then either :)
