Only buy this Bodenla adapter!
I've installed numerous RCN210 Chinese market radios into Mk4 Golf/Jetta and B5.5 Passat cars. Great, simple, OEM-look while adding just enough modern functionality with basic Bluetooth functions with your phone to be "modern enough".I had a handful of them that I might have bought through a different vendor via a different site where they were not switching on with the ignition and Bluetooth stopped working after awhile, all turned out to be faulty CAN bus wiring adapters.I replaced them with these from Bodenla (who I should never have strayed away from in buying these in the first place!) and the problems are all fixed, everything works flawlessly, including having multi-function steering wheel volume and track/channel controls.Couldn't ask for better.

Great adapter that you’ll need for older VWs!
It was easy to install the adapter that’s needed for the Bodenla car radio.

Didn’t work.
After some work I got it to work with the RCN210. It works takes some simple problem solving to get to work right.

Necessary for double din radios
The harness works great, and includes the CAN bus emulator so your steering wheel controls and dimmer switch will work. I wish you had the choice of connector when buying the radio instead of having to buy this separately. This harness is the easy button when it comes to upgrading the radio though, so it's worth it!

UPDATED: FIXED - Does not work on 2003 Jetta MK4
UPDATE to below issue. The seller sent me a custom harness that made the steering wheel controls work and the KEY OFF problem went away.Could not get steering wheel controls to work. Seller told me it's not compatible even though it says mk4 jetta in the title. Stock radio works with steering wheel buttons.

DO NOT BUY
Bought this to go with amazing radio/cd player. Turned out I it wasn’t required. Returned the item a few days after receiving. Never got issued a refund and it’s been over a month since sending it back. Now out $31. SCAM!
