As both a Game Master (GM) and a Game Designer, I have a need for very specific die face-odds. In the past few years with the explosion of 3D printers, there has been a lot of low-quality plastic dice that are unmarked. This set contains high-quality enameled dice with easy-to-read face numbers (available in different colored sets). A few things to note about the dice that are included:Guide: Polyhedrons are perfect shapes (all faces and vertices match to all other faces) and are fair dice. Polygons are nearly Fair Dice (not all vertices and faces match). Symmetric dice are usually poly-shapes that have a face stretched to a point and are mostly fair. Less fair are Planner and Cylindrical dice which are basically a sphere with faces planed off as equally spaced as possible from other faces.D3: Polyhedron (Hexahedron) number 1 to 3 twice (roman numerals so not mixed up with D6 (fair)D4: Polyhedron-Variant (Tetrahedron). A D4 with the points flattened so it rolls better (nearly)*D5: Cylindrical (Non-Geometric). Odd-sided D5 die with results on the top of a pointed side (less)D6: Polyhedron (Hexahedron). Standard die (fair)D7: Cylindrical (Non-Geometric). Odd-sided D7 die with results on the top of a pointed side (less)D8: Polyhedron-Variant (Octahedron). A D8 with the points flattened so it rolls better (nearly)*D10: Symmetric (Elongated Decoid Dodecahedron). A D10 numbered 0 to 9 (mostly)D%: Symmetric (Elongated Decoid Dodecahedron). A percentile numbered 00 to 90 (mostly)D12: Polyhedron (Rhombic Dodecahedron). A D12 that is not a polyhedron (nearly)D16: Planner (Nearly Geometric). Sphere with 16 faces planed off as equally spaced as possible (less)D20: Polyhedron (Icosahedron). Standard die (fair)D24: Polyhedron (Deltoidal Icositetrahedron). This is a variant of the above D12 (nearly)D30: Polyhedron (Rhombic Triacontahedron). This is a Catalan solid (nearly)D60: Polyhedron (Deltoidal Hexecontahedron). This is a Catalan solid (nearly)D100: Planner (Zocchihedron). Sphere with 100 faces planed off as equally spaced as possible (less)*Note the D4 and D8 actually have 8 and 14 sides respectively. It would be nearly impossible to roll these dice and land on one of these tiny sides. If so, a reroll would be needed.It should be noted that the D60 and D100 roll ridiculously for too long. The D100 is a must have for the collector, but a pair of percentiles are practical (and more fair). I wish the set would include sided dice that have more useful face odds (skipping the D6, D20 (most people already have), D16 and D60 with a D14 (7%), D17 (6%), and D50 (2%). However, induvial non-standard sided-dice of this quality are available from other sources. Sets are generally cheaper than buying individually though.

Nice set. Great for the price. I own several sets but the feel and weight behind this one is really nice.

This is a nice assortment of different dice... only comment is that the 100-sided takes a LONG time to rest on a number... and might meander/roll off a table if allowed to.

Original nerd alert. Played D&D with friends in the 1980’s and that’s when my fascination with multi-sided started. Now throw in a hundred sided die and some different sided die in red & black and I’m hooked. Watch out decisions that need to be made, no more Eenie Meenie.

I like the high contrast colors, makes them easy to read. I like the extra zocchi dice.

this dice set shiped faster and included a bag nopt much to say they are as pretty in person then on the site

Arrived exactly as pictured, albeit days after Amazon said it was delivered. Seller was of no assistance in that regard. However, the dice are nice quality, the d60 and d100 will roll for a long time, so I suggest using in a dice tray.
