I bought this just to fix a long tear on the side of a running shoe. It bonds the sides together well, and seems to be holding well too. Not the prettiest of repair jobs on this sort of fabric, but it has enabled me to keep using a favourite pair of running shoes to their natural life span. I used greaseproof paper on the inside with a shoe-tree to prevent excess glue forming a bump inside. No smell, cleans up easily. I need to find something else to fix now...

Ive used this a few times mending shoes, it takes around 48 hours to cure completely i think, and the only issue i have with it is that it can be a little messy but if you use a damp sponge to clean areas as well as your fingers straight away it cleans up fine, can feel a little tacky otherwise once cured, currently using it to re cover a pair of peeling leatherette heels with denim material, bit of a project but seems to be working so far so good. Would reccomend for general shoe repairs and bags, anything which has a degree of movement to it and sets very strong when cured.

Bought this to stick some patches on my motorcycle jacket. The patches went on OK and have survived pouring rain. I would advise not putting the glue too close to the edge of whatever you're attempting to stick down. When compressed (e.g. the patch onto the jacket), the glue oozed out around the edges and was almost impossible to get off. Having said that, it seems to have done a great job of sticking patches to a flexible surface. Very good, especially at such a cheap price.

I had a pair of Nike Air golf shoes, and the sole and the shoes were separated after two years of use. (Left and right at the same time!)I have repaired it with this glue and played two rounds on wet condition. Works perfect!It is slightly difficult to spread it into the gap between the soles and the shoes since the glue is so sticky.When it is done, you will love it!I will buy it again.ADDED in September 2012I bought it to fix my golf shoes that the sole was separated from the shoes. I put enough (almost all of the tube) glue, so it looked tight sealed when I completed the job.Well, the two rounds of golf were OK, but it was separated again.I reduced the stars from 5 to 3.So, it worked, but not perfectly...Anyone who wish to use it for fixing soles and shoes, I suggest you find better solutions.

I was recommended this to use to fix a stress ball. It worked for a while but the glue comes off through being touched, so obviously didn't work for what I bought it for. It is also went hard in the tube, but maybe I didn't put the cap on tight enough. I can't complain too much as it may have been my fault, but it didn't do what I wanted.
