Works as advertised
Works. Did not know that the supplied butt splice were heat shrink, bonus.

It does not fit in the socket
I ordered the two part male and female kit and it all worked out well and is good quality. I ordered a second male plug so I could charge my battery without removing it. The two holes in the plug do not line up with the one that came in the kit. Its close but will not work.

Fits my application (old camper, the socket is already installed) but the package arrived without the advertised butt connectors included.

Fit 12v Minn Kota no issues
Fit 12v Minn Kota Terrova with no issues...perfect if you use with the quick release bracket.

Doesn’t drain water well when mounted vertically
Mount horizontal if possible. Prongs rusted pretty quickly even with dielectric grease

I've always trusted the Attwood brand in my boat. The last one of these I bought 25 years ago, only replaced it because I was rebuilding the entire boat. It still worked!! And had been left to the elements. If you're wondering if this will last? The answer is yes!

Works well on my Ulterra 24 volt
Replaced the 12 volt unit with a24 volt Minkota Ulterra. Used this same plug as a 24 volt.I ran heavier gauge wires than needed for connecting all my batteries together.This is the smallest piece for gauge of wire in the circuit but doesnt over heat.Used the recommended circuit breaker too
