Will this hold a half sheet of glass?

The support pins are 5" tall. The largest piece I've put in was 12" wide and 18" tall. If it's a Bullseye 17"x 20" half sheet it should. If it's Ouroboros/Oceanside 24"x 24" half sheet probably not.

How big of a piece can this hold at the max?

This works best for about 12" x 12", but I have held longer pieces...12 - 14" by 20" BUT that is very awkward for storage. For a temporary hold while working it'll do (if you have the counter space.
