Anderson's Maple Syrup, Inc. Very Dark in 32 oz. plastic Jug brown

I've tried another brand sold on here and also the one that Costco sells. Both of them are lighter in color and taste, and a bit watery for my preference. This bottle is significantly better: it has a rich color and strong flavor. However, I personally do have a preference for darker maple syrup. If you do as well, give this a try!

I guess we are so used to the maple flavor from our stores, that the flavor from real maple does not taste anything like that. Even the consistency is different than those we have at the stores. The old-fashioned maple syrup that comes in a shape of an old-fashioned lady with an apron is thick. One would expect that all maple syrups to have that type of consistency. I've tasted a couple of real maple syrups and they are really delicious, but the syrup is thinner (a bit on the runny side). I purchased this maple syrup and another that is aged in a bourbon barrel, and I must say, I prefer this one best. It's darker in color and bolder in taste. Although I do prefer the thicker consistency, but this syrup is really good. I will continue to purchase this brand.

Dark enough amber to have a decently strong taste, but definitely not B....unless they have been stretching the syrup and this is they way it has been with them, it is my first time buying Andersons. Solid choice if you just want close enough and not have to pay over a dollar per ounce for actual grade B. I will be trying another brand and using this jug for the communal winter cooking at work.

This is exactly what I wanted. This is dark brown and delicious. I have never purchased this brand before, but I will be purchasing it again. I have purchased other maple syrup that has not stood up to this taste on this maple syrup…so delicious I would recommend.

From the way this syurp has been rated I can only imagine most of these people grew up using Mrs. Butterworths Or log cabin. I never really had Maple syrupthis syrup is not good It's got a really bad taste. Not sweet and sugary, like syrup should be more like it was Boiled it over tires, really disappointed would not buy again. It would not recommend

Not too sweet and very strong maple taste. This is my favorite as of yet.
