These are amazingly effective strikers!
Modern ceramics are truly amazing. They can be created with just about whatever physical characteristics a vendor can specify. These strikers have very crisp 90° edges and are both rigid and durable. If these were made of steel, their edges would wear down fairly quickly and they would tend to bend. These ceramic strikers have shown no such wear after many uses.If I just had to find something to complain about, people with large hands (like mine) won't find much surface area to grip. I've successfully used these strikers many times in various conditions, but I wouldn't mind if they were maybe 50% wider and longer.

i had never used ceramic as a ferro rod striker before and they work better than a lot of steel ones I have used. a little small for my hands but still work fine.

Don't believe the title
The "Two pack" of strikers only contains one striker. Great idea, but terribly expensive for what it is and only half of the described amount was sent.

Works good and small enough to make a necklace out of it.

Super small
Super small but work really well. Tried it out on a RatMatch and a full size Ferro rod and it produces a good amount of spark from both. Put it on some shock cord with the Esse RatMatch.

Used this as the medallion along with a small ferrel rod and some 550 Paracord to make a cool fire starter necklace

Does what it’s supposed to.
This thing works. It’s super small so put it on a line.Would have liked to have gotten 4 for the price of one. Seems a bit expensive, and smaller than I was expecting. Shipping took a long time too.

Description was accurate but misleading.
This striker works well with ferrorods. It is tiny, fingernail sized, so good for a small fire kit. It makes good sparks with every edge. However, others sell two for this price, and this description left me with the impression, however wrong on my part, believing I was getting two strikers. Be careful, if you want one or two, check the correct boxes. I hope the vendor will change the title of the description so others won't be fooled, also.
