Designed for controlling frizz and adding shine, while the product is oil based it is light and did not weigh down my hair. My hair is curly, shoulder length and although there is a lot of hair, the texture is thin so it is prone to frizz and can be easily flattened. The product is to be applied to dry hair, so with a light spray I was pleased with the way it tamed the frizz and added a bit of shine all without negatively affecting the volume.Application of anti-frizz/shine products can be somewhat messy. Usually it requires pumping an oily liquid onto hands, rubbing them together and then running them through the hair. This then necessitates washing hands, reapplying lotion, etc. This spray bottle releases a fine mist so it can actually be applied in a very controlled way. Hold it close to the hair or some inches away.With first use, the pump did need to be repeatedly pressed (probably 10-15 times) before product was released. The fragrance is strong, something that is usually an issue for me, not because of sensitivities but simply because juggling different fragrances can be annoying.Completely subjective, but I genuinely like this scent enough to make an exception. It is difficult to describe the fragrance other than to say it is not a readily identifiable herbal or citrus concoction – it is a complex perfume. The male in residence also liked the scent but felt it too feminine for use in his hair—so not necessarily unisex. It does dissipate over an hour or so. I actually wish it lasted longer. Excellent product. Excellent fragrance.

I got this shine mist because it doesn't have alcohol and it claims to tame frizz and flyaways. I sprayed it on and smoothed my hair; the spray made my winter hair smooth and shiny. However, I found that it also somewhat diminished the volume of my straight hair (my hair is a couple of inches below shoulder length).The scent is not "amazing" as someone else claimed. This is highly personal; some people like scented products. I like light, clean scents. This one gave me a headache. It's somewhat musky and heavy; given the name 'seaberry,' you would think of fresh and fruity by the name. It's neither. Even overnight, I can still smell it...and I hate the scent.I would have given this 5 stars had it not had the fragrance. Given that this product has limited ingredients, it was a bad idea to make this scented. It would have been a great product had it it been unscented. As it is, it's now in the trash.

I've never tried Obliphica before so wasn't sure what to expect. Bottom line - I really like this product! The small pump bottle works flawlessly, the fragrance is nice - a tad on the strong side but pleasant so forgiveable. Those with allergies or strong sensitivities may want to skip however to be on the safe side...at least find a sample product before buying. Of course the real question is the shine and that is where this really distinguishes itself. I'm past the half century mark, live in Florida where the high heat and humidity combined with harsh sun and chlorinated water takes a HEAVY toll on hair...especially aging hair. The only shine my hair normally gets is silver grey showing through. Until now - this does exactly what is advertised and provides a light, fully flexible extra bit of sparkle that makes hair look young and healthy. Very nice results - looks like you just walked out of the salon.

This shine mist is a nice, small size that adds some nice shine to your hair! Though I am not exactly sure what a seaberry is supposed to smell like, this one has a nice and refreshing scent that is pleasant but not overpowering. I have fine, thin hair, so I am careful with adding sprays because it can weigh my hair down too much and make it too flat. This is lightweight spray, which is great! I actually use it the most when my hair is pulled back in a pony tail – but make sure to wait until it has dried before re-doing a pony tail because it does leave a residue on your hand otherwise! I find that it does make hair shinier and helps keep any minor flyaways in place! I don’t use this every day, but I do like it on the days that I do use it!

This is a decent shine spray. It's mostly silicone so it definitely gives your hair that extra shiny look and tames any flyaways. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I actually really like the way that it smells. I have a hair serum by this company with the same scent and I find it to be very pleasing. I have fine hair and I find that if I spray this product directly on my hair it's too much and my hair looks greasy and weighed down. It's also hard to keep it away from the roots if you spray. I prefer to spray the product on my hairbrush and then run the brush through my hair in the places that I want the product to go. I'll also spray some on my fingers and run my hands over the flyaways to calm them down.
