I have had this type of planner for 3 years and I love it. I ordered this one to be my 4th... despite some negative reviews, I ordered anyway, knowing I have loved the product in the past. The first few months are fine, but one the planner hits October, there are many errors. The pages were misprinted or assembled incorrectly or something. The manufacturer should have checked the product after the first few negative reviews and pulled the defective calendars! Now I am out the $ for this one and I will have to buy a new planner. Very disappointing!

Women wear many hats and this will keep you organized!
There are two differences in this year's 2017-2018 Teacher's Weekly Lesson Planner compared to last year's. In my opinion, the 2016-2017 Lesson Planner was better for two reasons. First, that the front cover had a slit to add decorative paper allowing personalization, which helped distinguish my planner from my daughter's. Second, it also had a plastic pocket in the front to help with reminders and/or organization. Because of these differences, I have given my current purchase only four stars. That said, though I am not a teacher, the layout for weekly tasks is beautiful. It is nice to have categories for the many different hats we wear as moms/wives/volunteers. I can plan the week in one of the subject columns, and assign a day to complete the task making sure that all of my responsibilities are completed each week. Rather than using different colored pens for each class, my daughter can keep assignments separated by column/class and breakdown her workload for continued academic success! From corporate outings and paying bills to baking cookies for school, this planner works for me and I plan to buy two more next year.

Best Teacher Planner Ever Made!!
Love this planner! I've tried so many different planners over all my years of teaching, and this one is, by far, the best! The layout and design (there are nine planning sections for each day, great for elementary school teachers) helps me to plan and keep track of all the activities, meetings, and professional development dates, all year long. Based on the reviews, I was worried that the dates would be incorrect, but they were not. I checked every monthly and weekly calendar date, and every date was correct. Don't hesitate to buy this planner! You can't go wrong for that $10 price tag!

One improvement, several downgrades, and a pocket hack!
I've purchased this planner to use for two years now, and for the layout I really love it. The paper is good quality too; I write on them using some fairly inky Stabilo point 88 pens and there is only the teeniest shadow on the back of the page, hardly existent and not the least bit irritating. I really hate it when pens bleed through. I've attached a picture to illustrate. There were unfortunately a few downgrades to this year's planner from last year, but there was one upgrade. The good first; there are more note pages in the back this year. Last year had the back of one page for notes. This year it has 2 pages front and back in addition to that. Now for the bad. The cover is a disappointment, and I'm not just talking about the colors (which you may like and good for you, not my thing though, and where are the options?!) you no longer have that sturdy cover with a pocket which you can customize with your own paper if you want. This one is just a semi-hard plastic sheet which isn't terribly clear, and "fogs" over the design page. Also, the year overview page is not laminated. Worst of all though (and what were they thinking?!) there is no pocket page. I despaired at first, and then it occurred to me that I might be able to transfer the pocket from last year's planner in the spirit of all those disc planners I see. It works! You just snip between the double wire rings all the way down the pocket page with a pair of scissors and you can 'snap' it out and 'snap' it into the rings of this years planner. It seems plenty sturdy to me, and I have hope it will last through the year. Hopefully this helps other pocket-loving previous users :) pictures attached and hopefully helpful.

Happy Customer!
I am so excited to use this planner! It is so convenient that the dates are already in the planner. It will save me so much time! The first one I ordered had incorrect dates, but I requested a replacement through Amazon. Two days later I received a corrected one. Will definitely plan on buying another one next year!

Out of Order Calendar!!!
The first 2 months in this planner were all messed up. When you open to the actual calendar under the August tab, the left side was August, and the right side was for April. Turn the page, and the dates listed were supposed to be for Mon-Fri, July 31-Aug 4th, but the first week had August 21-25, followed IMMEDIATELY by April 9-13, followed by September 4-8, followed by the LEFT side saying April 23-27, then the right side saying August 28-Sept 1. Turn the page to the September calendar, and the left side is September, the right side is May. Unfortunately, this is the SECOND time I've bought a planner like this- so I'm just going to keep it and tackily scratch it all out and re-write the correct numbers and dates. I've used this brand of planner for the past 3 years and have NEVER had a problem like this, but to say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. The September weeks are all messed up as well. Needless to say, this does NOT HELP with organization.

Great Lesson Plan Book
I am using this product as an elementary teacher of a split grade classroom. I love that there are eight sections/classes in this planner. It allows me the space to write two sets of lesson plans for each subject. The individual boxes are large enough to write the details I need. The tabs and monthly calendar make this plan book easy and organized. The plastic front and back covers give me the protection I need to keep my plan book clean. I am extremely pleased and will be purchasing again next year.

Prefilled dates saves time
With other planners, I have had to fill in dates (and I usually mess it up because of Saturday and Sunday). I would spend more time looking up what day was when. I love that there are tabbed months and the dates are prefilled. This saves me a little bit of time so I don't have to think about it. There are 9 blocks of time so it is great for middle school/high school as well. I teach multiple subject so this has been great so far as I have started planning for my school year.
