My daughter left her wet cleats in a plastic bag over the weekend. The smell was so bad that I didn't even want them in the house. I tried a bunch of things, but nothing helped. I saw these on a list of popular items selling on Amazon right now, so I thought I would give them a shot. After one night, the smell was already noticeably less awful! And now that she's been putting them in every day, I don't even notice them in the house at all...yay!

I know that these are for bags and shoes, however, I put both in my car to see if I can neutralize the odor in there. My Camry has a slightly musty smell in it. I live in the hot, humid, south and I don't have a garage so my car is outside all day and night. I was hoping that using both remodeez would remove or at least reduce the lingering mustiness but, after two weeks in the front door pockets, I can't detect a difference. Remodeez also sells an auto version that I am tempted to try but the one auto version looks about the same size as two of these so I thought it would have the same effect. I will try them in my daughter's swim bag to see if they can at least reduce the chemical smell from the chlorine and I will update my post with the results.

These work really well. I put one in my daughter's dance bag and no more stinky dance bag. I keep the other in the shoe closet, and goodbye odors. I just ordered more to put in a couple other places. I was a bit skeptical at first, but they really work. They do need a bit of time at first if the odor is pretty strong.

Finally had a chance to open and try these. They immediately dumped out all the tiny little odor absorbing pieces; still finding these little grainy pieces in my shoes and the container they were in.... It's like continuing to find sand everywhere weeks after a beach trip, but without the fun experience. Cannot recommend, total mess and unusable.

I travel frequently, so my suitcase is always half packed with my travel items! I’ve been using this for 2 years and it keeps my suitcase fresh! The only maintenance is putting it in the sun periodically to recharge!

I put these in my boxing gloves to help with the smell. it doesn't leave one behind but it also takes away the smell from class. i'll take it
