In-Door Lock Protection Super Duty F250 F350 F450 99-16 / Excursion 00-05 Front Doors Lock Cylinder on each Front Door

So, after the second attempt to break into my truck, I decided to try these out. I’m not sure if it will help, but it will definitely slow them down enough to get them on my video, and or alarm to go off. My drivers side took a little bit longer to install just for the simple fact that I had to replace my door handle also. But the passenger side literally took me maybe 5 minutes to install. Very sturdy materials, and detailed instruction. I didn’t look at the instructions and just figured it out. The instructions were almost too confusing.

After having my Super Duty door locks punched a second time I decided to add these to the Club and Alarm just to be sure. Since I installed these I haven't had anyone else try to get in and hopefully I never do. It is a very simple metal plate and installed fairly easily. The difficulty was mainly with the location more than the product. If you have a Super Duty the bad guys really like them too apparently so add this.I actually have it on video from Mall security. A truck pulled up to mine on the passenger side. The passenger gets out and punched my door lock. Fortunately the alarm went off and they scampered away. Protecting your truck is all about layers of protection and yes if they want it they'll get it. But, because of my club and alarm I've kept it longer than others and this should help too.

This should be the first thing you install when you buy F series! Along with PunchPlugs for locks and rear door kit as well! I tried punching through with a screwdriver and just managed to scratch the paint on the PunchPlug. Devices are so simple that I thought about using steel plates and making them myself, but by the time I buy material and "make" them it is much more practical to buy the kit and reward inventor for simple and well though out product!!!

Installation of the Jimmi Jammer is pretty straightforward and simple. However the clamp that comes with it is really cheap. Also it would help to add in a round insert that fits inside the old lock cylinder because Ford door handles are all plastic and when you tighten the clamp it tends to squeeze the plastic cylinder closed. I can see the clamp possibly falling off and going down to the bottom of my door due to vibration and opening and closing the door. Otherwise good idea and design. Hopefully this prevents future break-in's. thanks!!!

Product is as described. Wasn’t Amazon prime but came very quick! Way ahead of the estimated delivery date. Glad there is something on the market like this to help keep trucks more secure. Definitely recommend buying these!

Excellent product. Sturdy material. Take your time and it will be easy to install. Does not completely wedge in door frame just so you know.

My truck was broken into after they broke the lock out of my handle. After installing these, I can see how all of that trouble and expense of a new handle could have been avoided

Easy to install, I recommend looking up a YouTube video on proper installation. Easily done in an hour with common hand tools.
