Black-Out Window Treatment Curtain Rods, Black - 66 to 120

I would have loved to give these rods 5 stars, and while they are exactly what I wanted, they have some flaws. I ordered 4 rods, 2 of which were slightly scratched up. Now I don't really care about this because the scratches are on the side that face the ceiling and I will never see them again. My second issue with them is that the hardware that is included is not sufficient for holding heavy curtains. The drywall anchors were the thinnest cheapest ones you could buy. We tossed them and bought the heavy duty anchors from the hardware store ($3) and then installed. Once hung, They are beautiful! These rods give the room a bit of an edgy feel and are much more aesthetically appealing than regular rods. Also, they allow the curtain to be pulled around the sides and keep ALL of the light out. I would absolutely buy these again.

This rod is great. It’s sturdy and I know it will hold my curtains up with no problem. My only complaint is that I made a trip to Walmart and the same rod was $10 cheaper!!

I love the look of these but honestly don’t think I installed them right. I usually do really well with home improvements + installs but I definitely could’ve used an extra pair of hands for these. They hold my curtains up well (also from amazon ;) but I really feel like they’re loose in the wall. Handy-woman fail!My suggestion: do install with two people. It will be worth it!

Easy to install. They look great on my windows. As per some other reviews, you do not have to remove the whole unit to remove the curtains. You just have to use the small allen wrench to remove the rod from the holders attached to the wall.

So far this has been a good curtain rod. Seems pretty heavy duty. I have it across a sliding glass door with no center support and a mid-weight curtain and it isn't bowed, yet. I was looking for something that didn't need a center support so I could have one large curtain instead of two. The only thing that would make this rod better is if it was one solid piece instead of two pieces but then it wouldn't be adjustable and the price would be much higher. Overall, it looks like it will hold well.

Hard to install. I used a drill yet the screws are hard to insert afterward with how close the holes are together/the pole. Buy curtains that use removable hangers like shower curtains because you have to insert the first pole into the second while attempting to screw each side’s nails.

It was something I could do by myself with a drill but would have been preferable with another steady hand. The wrench in the package was useless you really need a drill to get this to go in!

It’s what I needed for my bamboo curtains, altho I really needed them to be 12 inches. If you have 12 inches long rods, I need 2.
