Don't pull your hair out, pull whatever you want with this. No more weak, temporary, workarounds!
The quality is great! I could not have ordered a better multi use hitch. I have a Craftsman 17HP riding yard tractor and a zero turn mower. When I get my 50" cub cadet stuck in the muddy low areas in my acreage I use the 42" cut Sears rider to pull it out. I had rigged several different types of steel loops but this solved the issue of how to attach a chain for pulling anything with the smaller lawn tractor. It works great as well for the standard yard carts and sweepers, and even has a place to put a ball on it if needed. It has no ball included as each person might have different size balls in use. I have spare balls for helping out others when I need to. I used my 1 7/8s spare ball on it. That is sufficient to just pull my trailers out of the way when mowing. I have a full size Ford tractor and diesel truck for the heavier things with both 2" and I use a 2-5/16ths for my trailer with the diesel truck. This guy just lets me pull anything without having to get out the big machines for a small relocation in the yard. For the money I found no better value in a riding mower or ATV multi hitch.

Very solid and good design
I bought this three-way hitch because I recently bought a trailer to pull behind my pick up truck and I wanted to be able to move the trailer around without the truck. The trailer is too heavy to push by hand so I wanted to use my ATV, but I needed a ball hitch on the ATV. This three-way hitch works perfectly. I can still use the normal ATV Hitch pin hole but now I have a 2 inch ball to go with it. The only drawback (and this is not a problem with the design of the hitch) is that it is difficult to get enough torque on the bolts to keep the hitch from rotating without a pneumatic wrench. Fortunately, I have a pneumatic wrench and it tightened it down nicely. If you don't have one I would suggest using a half inch drive ratchet with an extension or a breaker bar.

Works great and is very well built. Graet value
I am using it to lower the hitch point on my new Honda Rancher ATV. More then strong enough for my application. Easy to install and drops the hitch point by about three inches. Very well built for what it is. I do not use a ball, just a hitch pin so it does exactly what I need it to do. The star washer mounts between the hitch on the ATV and the top of the hitch to keep it from pivoting.

A working ATV could use one.
If you pull a variety of trailers, etc. with your ATV, you could use one of these. First, it elevates the trailer tongue. This can be particularly important if the trailer is equipped with a fixed jack, to keep the bottom end from dragging on the ground, catching curbs, etc. Second, it extends the hitch point backwards from the ATV rear axle, which makes backing the trailer easier. Third, you can hook up to either a ball or a pin hitch without screwing the ball in and out. This unit was priced a little over half the cost of the next lowest price I found for the same item. Points to watch; first, because it extends the hitch point rearward from the rear axle, a heavy load forward of the trailer wheels can make the ATV light in the front, and second, you will need to really tighten down on the bolt holding this extension to the ATV hitch, or risk the combination jackknifing at the point of attachment when backing a heavy trailer uphill.

Reasonable price, well built, works perfectly
Needed a drop hitch for my Cushman Truckster as the stock one was just a little too high and thick to allow for towing garden implements. This product did the trick. Very well built with lots of flexibility. It came with all that was needed to mount it in my application, so I was up and running in a few minutes.

Didn't work out for my needs but may work for you
This will not come with the ball...I read through the description and still thought the ball would be included. Anyway, it is well made, heavy duty, and versatile. It can also connect to my garden trailer which has a pin mount and pull something with a cable and hook if I like. The ball bolt leaves very little room if you wanted to place a hook onto the lower ring...design flaw on their part. The bolt that connects this to whatever you have is 3/4 inch diameter...that's a big hole needed to accommodate this guy. I got lucky, after seeing the bolt I thought I would need to drill out a larger hole but, all was good. I can see this being an issue for some tractors. Another issue may be this ball hitch will be too low to pull the rented log splitter around my property and that's the only reason I bought this thing. If you want to spend more money, they do make these extended higher for low tractors like mine. I'll give an update. UPDATE: as said above the install was easy... but, It does not stay put as others said even with the locking washer provided. Also, due to the design it puts a lot of downward pressure on my tractor where this thing mounts onto. The end result has been a bent plate where this mounts to, fixable but this is worthless and I can't use it. Even pulling a log splitter was a pain. If you would like I have pics to post on here, just ask :)

Absolute must to take full advantage of your riding mower
As some reviewers have noted, this mount does turn by itself because it's only held by one screw. However, this does not impact it's usefulness. There are other mounts that cost double this price, but I don't want to shell out that much money for such a simple product. At its current price point of $25 ish, this mount is worth every penny. If you really don't want it to move or twist, weld it in place. I use this mount on a Poulan Pro 46" 20hp riding lawn mower. I use it to tow a 4x8 utility trailer on my farm- I move tree and shrub debris, firewood and tools on nearly a daily basis. I'd say it can safely tow 500lbs before it may cause damage to the mount rim on my mower. This is more than enough because I use it simply for basic tasks and not full farm stuff. This being said, this is an absolute must needed item to take 100% full use of your riding mower.

To avoid hitch listing to the side put it on right.
I was very leery in buying this hitch for my 86 Honda 350 Fourtrax because I read that the hitch twists side ways especially when backing up. when I stArted to install it I realized that the under side of my Honda hitch has raised edges and when I held the new hitch under my Honda hitch, it was almost as if the new hitch was built for my Honda. It actually nested into the Honda hitch and the bolt was just there to hold it in place. I have a 6 x 12 double axle trailer which was loaded with quite a bit of building material and I backed the trailer into position without any twisting or any problems. Had I mounted the new hitch on top of my Honda hitch, it would have been a nightmare backing the trailer up because the new hitch would definitely have twisted side ways.

Nice to have the ability to pull different things, small trailers with ball mount or hitch pin
Like the versatility and quality of the product. Nice finish and weld quality. Had to drill hitch on tractor 2 sizes bigger. Tractor had 5/8" pin hole. Had to drill out to 3/4" to accommodate hitch adapter...no biggie. Needed to install spacers under the hitch plate on the tractor (stamped steel with rolled edge), to get it tight enough that it didn't slip around while backing up my trailer. Star washer and rubber washer also helped keep it tight. Good, well made product!

DOES THE JOB
Fitted on my ATV to connect 6x4 trailer as the ATV hitch too low. Had it on for awhile and no problems but limited by ATV low towing capacity.
