Amazing product. A must-have for readers.
Have you ever bought something that made you say "where have you been my whole life?"... This was one of those products for me. I can finally read without having my hands cramp up from holding the book. I can read while I eat my breakfast. I can use it in the kitchen to hold the cookbook or my Kindle Fire to watch cooking videos while I work. It also holds my clip-on book light nicely. It's a game-changer and I foresee myself spending many, many hours with it.I bought the largest one (15.6 x 10.4 inches) but I'll probably end up getting a small one as well for when I'm reading paperbacks.I've included several photos in my review. I've tried several different things to give you an idea of this stand's abilities and possible shortcomings. The thickest book I have is a leather-bound Shakespeare collection that's just under 3" thick. This stand handles it with ease. I was concerned about its ability to hold such a thick book when it is turned to the first few or last few pages, but as you can see in the photo, it's not really a problem, however, the springy arms struggle a bit to manage the thick side. It still works though. I'm also not concerned about the weight of the book since the stand feels very stable and could handle much more than this book. The rubber feet on the bottom of the stand hold it in place nicely as well.Next, let's look at smaller books. I used my paperback copy of 1984 for this which is 4" wide and 7.5" tall. The arms were almost too far apart to handle the book and it might be a little cumbersome to use them for books of this size. This is why I'm going to buy the smaller version of the stand for when I'm reading paperbacks like this. I also tried a medium-sized book: one of the "B&N Classics" paperbacks which measure roughly 5" wide and 8" tall and it worked very nicely for this size of book and the arms had no trouble reaching up to the middle of the page (vice having to be at the bottom of the page for the smaller book).Lastly, some people have asked if it can hold individual sheets of paper. There is a very slight gap between the backboard and the support board. I placed a sheet on there and one corner fell partway through. However, you can use the clips to hold the paper in place so it still works for individual sheets, you just have to use the clips. Anything thicker than a single sheet should be fine even without the clips. It can hold an index card without the clips. Also, don't think that this stand is only for traditional books. I've been reading my Kindle with it and it's just as good for that. I haven't used it in the kitchen yet, but I get a lot of recipes from videos and I'm looking forward to being able to prop up my Fire on it while I cook.Another thing that concerned me before buying this was that the support in the back is plastic. I was afraid that it would be flimsy and easily broken, but it's thick, sturdy plastic and I do not worry about that at all.The board itself has a sort-of hard vinyl feeling with wood grain texture. It feels similar to laminate flooring planks. I would like it if there were a "luxury" model that used real wood, but to be honest this one will probably hold up better than real wood.Overall, I'm very, very pleased with this product and now I look forward to reading even more. If I were in a classroom that required me to look at a textbook, I wouldn't dream of going to class without one of these to prop up the book.

Best Book Stand I Bought
I really wish I found this product earlier. After receiving this product and using it, I can clearly see why this product have such an unrealistically high rating. Let me be clear, it deserves such high rating and I would give higher if I could.1) First of all, this book stand is durable. I haven't personally put extremely heavy books on it yet. However, I've tried to put the following items and it proves to be sturdy enough to handle these: a full 1" binder, children's book, tablets. Out of all these items, the heaviest is my 1" binder. Do note that I bought the smallest size of the book stand and it worked fine for all of these items.2) Secondly, this book stand is light! It can support things several times its weight. It doesn't slide because of the rubber stubs.3) Another feature it has is that it offers so many different angles. Usually products like this only offer a handful of angles, but this product offers 13 angles! (The product description has a typo. They put 15 because of 2 extra ridges, but I honestly think the 2 ridges are meant for aesthetics. Also, it could be 14 angles if you count flat as one of them.)4) This part has to be my favorite. It has wired page holders. It has a rubber(?) tip so it doesn't damage the page and prevents slipping. It's a spring so it holds the page pretty tightly. It is a thin wire, so I don't recommend using the wire to hold the book's weight (because that's not its purpose!). Mine haven't snapped yet, but we'll see.5) This is not only a book holder, it can hold laptops, too! I don't recommend the smallest size book stand for laptops. I haven't personally tried this yet, but I do believe it could withstand laptops based on what I've seen the small book stand can do. It has a special angle adjustment at the bottom made just for laptops, so the piece doesn't stick out if your laptop is thin.6) For something that is so durable, it could be folded and carried around easily. You have to study at the library? Bring this with you! You are cooking and need to have the recipe book opened? Use the page holder! You need ergonomic angle for laptops? Use any of the angles that makes your hands feel comfortable!I had to order again after using it for the first time. I figured that this will be a useful gift for my niece and cousin who are still in school. (Of course, I'm not giving away mine, because I'm using it.)Summary: I recommend this product for everyone. It support books, tablets, and laptops with different angles. It has wired page holders that works great without ruining the pages. The whole thing is light compared to the weight it can support. I never experienced any slipping problems. I might get more in the future.
