My wife loves it!
Purchased for my wife. Came well packed and protected in a heavy duty box and on a pallet. Arrived three days after we ordered it. It is a nice scooter with obvious attention to quality. With a little practice it breaks down easily and goes into the back of our suv pretty easily. She really enjoys it as it gives her a lot more ability to shop without my having to push her in a wheelchair. She likes that it fits down the narrow isles in the woman's section of stores. Battery charged easily and with no hassle. We can assemble it in just a minute and she is off down the mall enjoying the freedom it brings her. She does say it rides very nicely and the spring suspension really helps. We recommend this scooter highly. Ordering and delivery were first class. In the shipping box it is heavy so advise help in unpacking for us older folks.

Perfect for my dad, we are very pleased!
We bought our first Golden used from a friend so it was far from new when we got it. We live on acreage and our office is at the bottom of the hill and it went up and down the hill several times a day. The new Golden Buzzaround XLS HD - Travel Scooter is even nicer than the first one. When we received it, it was easy to assemble, came with a little head light and basket. My dad says he really noticed a difference in how much smoother this scooter is with the shocks and has had no problems with it at the airports.

Reliable Power when needed
Upon receiving the Buzzaround scooter I noted it was sent in a large carton, the assembly was easy to follow and all parts were marked to assist in assembly. We have used the scooter for my granddaughters graduation and weekend outings we are very pleased with the fit and finish and the performance of the buzzaround, battery life is excellent. Take down and assemble is very easy and it fits in the hatchback of our Nissan Rogue with ease.

Perfect. Just what we need for international travel
Perfect. Just what we need for international travel. Nice that can also safely accommodate my husband's weight limits....just in case! Assumbles quite easily for people that do not have lots of "assembly" skills!

Just what I needed
First a little about me. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis. I can not stand or walk for more than a couple of minutes without a lot of pain. I have to use the wheelchair chairs provided whenever I shop.I spent a lot of time researching the many makes and models of scooters on Amazon and other review sites. I picked this one for several reasons. First I have teenage children and it's hard for me to keep up with them without a scooter. I need the 14 miles per charge to stay up with them all day. I spent this past weekend at the very large Opryland Hotel and the battery lasted all day. I don't know just how far I drove it, but it was a lot.The only problem I had was with the battery charge gauge. It stayed at 2 green lights for a while then dropped to 1 then back to 2. Later it dropped to the yellow light which according to the brochure means 50% power left. I thought it was way to early for that. Within a couple of minutes it was back up to 2 green lights. At another point it went to the red light then back to 1 green lights. The gage was very inaccurate. Maybe it's like a cars gas gage and falls faster after it's half way gone. I hope this will go away as the battery is used. I'll update this when I know.I also have bad disk in my back which can make sitting for long periods painful. The suspension and captains chair make this model ride smoothly.Besides length of charge, the other reason I chose this model was the weight of the pieces when broke down. The heaviest piece is 35 pounds. Because that's the large part of the body the weight is spread out and easy to manage. The hardest part to me is the 29 pound battery. It comes with a handle, but it is not easy on my back.My husband and son who usually load and unload my scooters think this one is very easy to load and unload. Once you do it a couple of times, it's also easy to assemble it when needed. One other note. My grandmother used a name brand electric wheelchair for 30 years. Her only complaint was that the footboard was not flat and it would hurt her feet to sit on it with them at an angle for long periods of time. The Buzzaround footboard is flat and this model has a nice large one. Since you can adjust the seat to three different heights, you can find the one that is most comfortable to you.Not only will I recommend this model to others, I already have. I got several nice complaints this weekend.

Save yourself a lot of headaches - buy a Pride scooter instead!
I bought this scooter in November, 2017 for my husband. It's very comfortable and he really liked the suspension. But what good is that if the scooter itself is unreliable. It left him stranded at least 4 times for various mechanical problems Golden replaced the scooter under warranty in Sept., 2018 after trying to repair it to no avail. Now just 11 months later the battery died without warning and left him stranded again. Why should a battery be depleted after just 11 months of low to moderate use? Save yourself a lot of aggravation - I just bought a new Pride Go-Go Sport, and it seems much better made. There's a reason why you always see people in the amusement parks with Pride rental scooters - they're just plain more reliable!

Batteries die
Have had TWO sets of batteries. BOTH sets go from 2 green lights to 1 in 5 minutes. Range stated is horse hockey. And who dares to push it to stated range if you are left stranded? I only feel safe using it for 20 minutes--then back on the charger.
