Modern Country Homes Hardcover – July 5, 2016

I have waffled back and forth since last December on whether to buy this book or not. Now I am kicking myself for waiting so long. It is not a typical coffee table book being on the small size. However, don't be fooled by the size of the book because it is full of wonderful ideas for the future home I would love to build one day.

I like some of the projects in this book, but honestly, the pages are very small, making it a little hard to immerse oneself into it.Would’ve even preferred bigger pages without the sexy gloss finish, if it was a decision made with money in mind.

I purchased this book looking for design ideas similar to what was on the cover. But the reality is 95% of the homes are just done over barns and very repetitive in style. Nothing like the home depicted on the cover so it really is pretty misleading not great...
