Trenton Gifts 3" W Stainless Steel Hemming Clips, Hem Marker, Sewing Supplies and Accessories Set of 12

I’m using these clips to hold curtain hems in place. I’m not a fan of seeing so I’m making the curtains shorter by way of an iron and some hem tape. Hmm... while these clips seem like a great and useful tool they are sharp and will very easily snag the fabric if I’m not extremely careful when putting them on or taking them off. I have used them with several sheers and some thicker blackout curtain fabric. Yes, they do their job, but at what cost? Well, I’ve snagged 4 of the 12 panels so far and I was being as careful as I could. I’ve nearly sliced my fingers while doing this household project - surprisingly haven’t drawn any blood yet but the potential is there.I’m going to continue to use them in lieu of tedious pinning with straight pins, but I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. The quality is pretty low. The numbers are faint and difficult to read (and I don’t have age related sight problems to blame). And forget about centimeters... these clips only show quarters of an inch. Save your money and go for better quality!

These clips made it easier for my wife to hem some curtains she was altering. They worked very well. Since they also had measurements on them, they made it easier to make sure the length of the hemline was correct.

Please do the job definitely they’re nice it’s light on easily and hold the fabric place and they slide off this is easily and sturdy

I like that they had measurements on them. I gave it 4 stars because the inside put grey stuff all over my material so make sure you clean them thoroughly before using them.

They are just as seen and described. They are great when measuring a hem and you need a little extra help. Great for anyone who sews.

I thought these hem clips would be a great idea, but they do not stay clipped. Unfortunately, I didn't use them in time to get a refund, so I wasted my money.

The clamps were wide !!!! and held the cloth tight!!!!!!

It sure makes better sense than getting stuck with pins. They are easy enough to use if you are trying to make a hem or just turn edges of material down and are by yourself. Wish I knew about these things years ago. I have an other kind of clips and they are not as good as these. Thank You
