I like that it's made from great ingredients. I was looking for something that had a humectant (e.g., honey) and a mixture to moisturize my hair. I did initially smell the ginger scent. For me, it was practically gone after 30 minutes. The only way to smell it then was to put the hair right up against my nose, and I could barely smell it. The smell was initially strong in that I think I could smell it about an arm's reach away. I used a lot of the product because I have a lot of hair. I also did not mind the smell, but I'm not ginger adverse. This significantly helped moisturize my hair. It even lasted into the next day, and my hair (like always) had very low porosity. On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being none and 10 being supreme, the hold is about a 5 (moderated by the amount). It works much better than other similar products I've used. I think the only two products to do better are an AXE hair paste (9; leaves hair hard), and a Jamaican Castor Oil Strong Hold Gel by Shea Moisture (variable but usually 6). If you look at those products, the contents practically resist movement inside the container when shaking (lol). Overall, this product is very good. Left my hair feeling soft and shiny, and a hold just good enough to allow touching without moving in a light breeze. I will it buy again.

I like this product, it smells nice and gives my curls really good definition. It also works well with my other hair products. I would recommend.

I love this product! I use it every day, and it’s enabled me to cut down on my routine significantly, besides the styling gel, I only use a bit of leave in at this point. It makes refresh and the initial styling so easy. I have very thick wavy/ curly hair and there is no fizz and it feels light weight for me.

I loooove this hair gel. It's moisturizing and doesn't weigh my hair down and makes my curls really defined. They stay in place all day! For reference, I have 3b curls, and this is day 6 hair in the picture. It doesn't leave any build up in my hair. Also, I love that it doesn't leave my hair crunchy but still has good hold. I've tried lots of gels in the past that leave my curls a little crunchy. It's to be expected from gels, espe strong hold ones, but I love that it isn't the case for this one! It's a really good product for the price. Buy it! It works really well!

It is mild smelling, which is always good. And seemed to work good on my hair.

I used this product to do a natural 4c wash and go. I washed and deep conditioned my hair, then used this product on its own, no leave-in conditioner, and on soaking wet hair. It had lots of slip. I combed it through so it covered each strand of hair, and by Jove my hair is defined to the heavens with a strong hold. Yes it has a cast, but this is what keeps the definition for days. The smell is amazing and smells clean and of ginger. I am on day 3 hair now and my hair is still holding to the heavens. I don't re-wet my hair in the mornings as it causes frizz, but let the steam from the show rehydrate my hair. It is an amazing natural hair gel that can be used on its own or with a leave-in. Choice is yours. Definitely worth every penny.

I’m on my second bottle of this which the first one lasted over a year. I love this stuff for styling my curly hair, works super well with no terrible ingredients.

Ich nutze das Styling Gel seit einigen Wochen im Alltag und habe es in der vorgesehenen Anwendung getestet und ins nasse Haare eingeknetet um für meine Locken-Routine einen Gel-Cast zu bekommen. Positiv aufgefallen ist mir vor allem der Duft des Gels, sowie auch die Wertigkeit der Verpackung und die organischen Inhaltsstoffe. Die Handhabung ist unkompliziert, für meine Nutzung (Locken definieren und herausarbeiten) erfüllt das Produkt seinen Zweck zuverlässig. Es gibt einen Stern Abzug, weil man doch länger experimentieren muss, welche Produktmenge für ein optimales Ergebnis benötigt wird. Ich habe Unterschiede je nach verwendeter Produktmenge festgestellt. Das ist kein Ausschlusskriterium, sollte aber vor dem Kauf bedacht werden. Insgesamt eignet sich das Produkt gut für alle, die in ihrer Lockenroutine ein Styling Gel haben wollen, was nicht klebt und außerdem gute Inhaltsstoffe hat. Wer jedoch besonderen Wert auf minimalen Produkteinsatz in den Haaren legt, sollte dies berücksichtigen. Für meine Nutzung erfüllt das Produkt seinen Zweck zuverlässig.

The only product that works on my seriously serious 4c hair

I love this product, I have 3A hair and it creates a gel cast and my curls are always super defined and mainly frizz-less. The biggest con though is that this product is $30 which is not that affordable but I guess it’s worth it, but this product does run out fairly fast so make sure to keep that in mind before you spend $30 on this product. But otherwise, I truly recommend this product it is amazing, I use it in my curl routine and to refresh my curls.
