Terrible fit
Installed on a new Wrangler. Horrible fit. No way to make them acceptable. And they make returns super complicated. They went straight into the trash can. I'll be ordering the proper grips from Ruger

Unthreaded ferrule, fit GOOD
The ferrule threads as you install the grip screw. There are INSTRUCTIONS telling you this, which I didn't see until AFTER I installed these WELL FITTING GRIP PANELS. Since I'm a guy I probably wouldn't have read them anyway! Due to the way the screw fits ot probably won't come loose. THAT'S A PLUS!!!!
