I previously used hairspray, but was drying my scalp, so I wanted to try something with a good reputation being used by barbershop. I put on in morning stays nice all day, can even run fingers through without feeling greasy.

I ordered this to try because I can no longer find the wax I used to use that made my hair shiny. This wax has a nice, mild scent that's not overpowering, which is nice. It melts on your hands nicely, fortunately, because it's a bit grainy at first. (Whether that grainy feeling is natural or a flaw with this container, I don't know, since it's my first time using.) My hair is very thick and coarse, and this wax will not mold it. However, it does give me the piecey look I like, and if I just want to smooth my hair down, it works for that. It doesn't quite give me the shiny look I hoped for, but all-in-all, I'm satisfied with the product. It arrived in a padded envelope, and the tin was dented, so I'm glad the container wasn't made of plastic! (The envelope should've been sufficient; the trip to me must've been rough!)

I've been looking for regular bee's wax hair product. This is not it! Frankly it's false advertising because they clearly advertise real bee's wax. Outside of that if you want to be a 1950's greaser buy it. It's just a smelly reflection of the mid twentieth century. You too can smell like your grandfather.
