This Bible is absolutely beautiful! The cover is a lovely rose gold with an embossed peony with shinier petals/leaves here and there; it reflects beautifully in the light. The peony continues over onto the spine. The cover is also very, very soft and feels great in the hand! The art gilding on the edge of the pages is rose gold rather than yellow gold; this is very aesthetically pleasing. The pages are quite smooth, and while they are thin, they do not feel fragile. I feel comfortable underlining/highlighting on the pages. This Bible also has line matching, so while there is some ghosting, it is not distracting from the Word. And oh! The font! Clear and large and lovely! This is the ONLY compact Bible I’ve ever owned that has a font big enough for me to read! I have very bad eyesight, so I always try to get large print or giant print Bibles, but they are always so big and heavy! This Bible is quite lightweight. It is the perfect size for my hand, and I can easily hold it while reading for long periods of time without my wrist tiring. The red letter portions are dark enough to easily read as well. You will not be disappointed with this Bible! UPDATE! Just a quick update to say that the Sooez corduroy pencil case is a PERFECT fit for this Bible! It not only fits the Bible with tabs, but also a small notebook, my Bible stickers and pens/highlighters. AND it comes in many colors. (This is the green). There is a small zip pocket “floating” in the middle that I cut out so I could fit my notebook, but the Bible fits perfectly WITH that small floating pocket too! This Bible is so small, I had a hard time finding a case that it wasn’t lost in, but this one is perfect!

Beautiful, large print and easy to read. So excited to receive it. I went to a couple of book stores with no luck. Took a chance and of course Amazon had exactly what I wanted. Ordered Bible book tabs to help with finding chapters easily. Try it, you won’t be disappointed. The pages are thinner in the new books, it is what it is. Nothing is made like it used to be to be. Still a nice Bible.

Prepare for a lengthy read in 3.. 2.. As someone born, baptized, and raised Catholic and in between that being exposed to Christianity and then years passing by before I reconnected with God I was incredibly intimidated and thoroughly confused about the Bible. It's use and the Scripture when read just didn't make sense to me. I then made the conscious decision to commit to studying and I landed on this (after trying another Tyndale Bible, a compact with small print). So happy I did! It's perfectly SMALL! iPhone 13 placed next to it for size reference. I would recommend it for those with vision issues as this is my replacement Bible from trying another Tyndale compact Bible. The other Bible, although just as pretty, the font was too small and after prolonged reading made me feel cross-eyed. Absolutely love the feel of this Bible. It's lightweight, perfect for my "grab 'n go" life. It's leathery texture cover with thin pages makes for a solidly built book with a lightweight nature and sports my fave flower, a peony, which really caters to the female essence of it. Let's not forget the beautiful two-tone rose gold color! The Filament app and it's features are perfect for me - someone that leans heavily on technology and often uses apps like Reminders, Calendar, & Notes - having this app as a study tool v. pen/paper is top tier. The 'Study' function in the app really brings clarity to the Scripture, more often than not shutting down my chatty thoughts when reading something that in today's day seems "off". It brings me back to realize the time and location of the occurrence and sometimes even explains other viewpoints of said passage. I really do enjoy the additional interpretations as it allows for further understanding and broadening of my own thought process. The other function of the app, 'Reflect' I don't use less, but appreciate it being there and 'See' I have been using after I finished reading a book yo make sure my understanding of it was thorough and sensible. I paired my Bible with Tabbies gold-edged mini tabs for easy book finding, IT'S PERFECT. My caveats with the Filament app is the inability to highlight, copy, and paste from the app. In order for me to do that I have to screenshot then use the scan from picture to text feature that iOS has in order to paste anything into my Notes app. Also truly believe that if the app was 'text free' enabled, where there was a section to annotate within the Filament app, it would make for a insanely powerful study/Bible journaling tool. It goes without saying that despite the suggestions above I am incredibly happy with this item, as already I feel ions ahead in understanding than I've ever experienced in the past. I def recommend!

I wanted a bible that I could read and not try to translate. And the print is a good size. The cover is so pretty.

The largest font size I can find in a compact bible. 10 pt font size, compact, NLT translation. Love the color and everything about it. Perfect church bible.

I purchased to have a NLT version, as I love the fluid simple way that it reads. Even though I'm a lifelong reader of the KJV, I also compare as I'm reading to the NIV & wanted this version as well. Plus I love the size, my others are large & this can go with me everywhere! And it's a beautiful Bible! The font is perfect for "mature" (47) eyes. I've skimmed thru and so far I don't see any missing parts or damaged pages BUT there's a skip in three spots of the stitching. I deducted a star for that ~ I'm a sewist for a living I know that those skipped spots will be apt to pull more so I'll have to be mindful. If it weren't for the 30 minute drive one way to return, I'd send it back for a replacement.

I sincerely wish this was available in nkjv too..but NLT is great too.. i absolutely love this bible. It's large font is nice and easy to read. This fits in my purse very nicely. The filament app is great for study..Love it!

It's a beautiful bible must buy, but the only problem is that paper is very thin need to be careful.

This Bible is missing Matthew 17:21 which got me thinking what other Bible verses have been taken out of this Bible, total let down going to have to buy another Bible….also this Should be shipped out with more care, bubble wrap and in a box

Where to begin? It’s beautiful! Rose gold cover and page edges and matching ribbon. The font is large and clear, pages are thin, but this means the Bible is only the size of a thick, average sized paperback making it easy to hold. NLT version is easy to understand in comparison to KJV, NKJV and RSV. I was a bit skeptical about the filament app, but it’s great. I especially like the bible project videos and the worship songs that are embedded. It transforms bible study to a deeper level and more prayerful time for me. I wish I’d discovered it before.

Great portable size Bible but with large print! So great for popping into your handbag - doesn't carry the volume or weight of a large Bible. And with the Filament app, it's like a Study Bible but without compromising on portability.
