Q: Do these work well for composite edging 3.5 in tall a Vigoro product?

I don't know if these stakes will work with the edging you reference but be advised the stakes I received were not the ones pictured. The ones pictured showed a flat stake with a hook on the top. The ones I received were the round, spiral type with a small round top... just like a big plastic spike. That product would not hook over the top of the edging and provide the solution I was after. I didn't return them because the return shipping cost was more than the stakes cost me but beware that if your looking for the flat stakes with hooked top that may not be what you get.

Q: Will these.nylon stakes.hold down aluminum edging i n clay soil during the winter.

These stakes snapped with first use. Would not recommend. I have bought the metal stakes (which cost more) and use them over and over and over. Saves money in the long run.
