Well-made and versatile travel adapters
WHY I BOUGHT THESE: I had an upcoming trip to Ireland with my new wife and stepdaughter and I wanted to make sure we'd be able to plug in all our gadgets. My wife had one of those old travel adapters made for different kinds of plugs, but those are always clunky and seem prone to breakage. I decided I wanted some made just for UK type plugs, which are also used in Ireland, and this was the cheapest 2-pack I could find on Amazon that had USB-A and USB-C outlets as well as standard 110V AC outlets.PROS: These didn't look like the best build quality of the adapters like this available on Amazon, so I took a bit of a gamble buying them. However, when they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how well made and sturdy these are. The plastic is robust, the placement of the various outlets is ergonomic, and the adapters themselves are nicely compact (see my pics). I especially appreciated the USB-C port, which I used to charge my Google Pixel 6 at nearly full speed. The pics of this item from the manufacturer are confusing, since one of them lists the USB-C output as max 5V/3A and another as "PD." 5V/3A is the original, pre-PD standard for USB-C, whereas PD is capable of higher voltages and (sometimes) currents. I took along my USB power meter to test, and as you can see in the pic, it is capable of charging at 9V and over 2A and putting out at least 19W. This makes the 20W claim emblazoned on the adapter essentially correct. (The other pic where it's putting out 5V was with a non-PD device, so it puts out traditional voltages too.) I used the USB-A port to power my Lectro Fan white noise machine, and it worked great for that. There is also a raised lip on the top that makes a nice cradle for a phone. All in all, I was really impressed by how functional, easy to use, and unobtrusive these adapters turned out to be.POTENTIAL CONS: I don't think this device has any cons. A folding plug would make it more compact to pack in your luggage, but it would probably compromise the firmness of the fit of the plug in the outlet--so this is down to preference. It does NOT convert voltage, so be aware of that. For me this is not a con, because I didn't need that feature. (These days, pretty much all mobile devices/small electronics work fine with 220V anyway.) Oh, and Amazon asked me to rate this adapter's "drying performance"--I'm afraid it does very poorly in that department. I was extremely disappointed that this adapter did not remove any moisture from my clothes or the hotel room air.TLDR: These adapters are great for travel to countries with Type-G plugs, such as the UK or Ireland. With three AC outlets, two USB-A plugs, and one USB-C plug on each, you can probably even leave your phone charger at home. Built-in phone cradle is handy, and the overall build quality is suprisingly good. At $25 for a pair, these are an extraordinary value.

Compact power for traveling abroad
I really liked using this plug when I was in Ireland. I used the USB ports for my fan and phone charger and the outlet for my hair dryer.

POOR Quality
I bought these for my family to use in Ireland and every single person caught fire to one of their appliances. The only thing they are good for is low voltage like charging your cell phone but I would still keep an eye on it. Waste of money and dangerous!

Sep 4th: In my earlier review, I mentioned issues with USB charging my Anker powerbank, well it killed it. I had to throw it away. When I used the USB ports to charge a Pixel 6, the phone got super hot. The 3-prong outlets seem to be fine, didn't see an issue charging my laptops or using it for other equipment.July 22nd: I have 2 of these. Works perfectly for my laptop and charging phones. It does not seem to charge my Anker power bank very well though.
