A very good reference for design

This book is written as like RK bansal fluid mechanics book language . Indeed an indispensable book for mechanical design book as like RK bansal fm book 📚📚. Written in very systematic manner and given theory is also in very consistent . This book is very useful for non mechanical engineering students / engrs also . This is the most complete book on machine design a mechanical engineering student in India will need for any of his preparations. The theory in the book is explained in the most simple way for a layman's understanding. All the important topics and many uncommon ones are also shared in the book, this book will help you master the subject of machine design easily (design is a bit of a subjective topic though) .Also,the page quality of the book is more than decent. some of the great features of this book are: - The concepts are explained very clearly and they are followed by a lot of good solved examples with varying levels of difficulties which are great from the point of view of a GATE aspirant. - The latest edition of the book presents the topics in a new "learning objective" which helps students focus on a particular concept at one point,so the book is very organised that way. - The numericals in the book are more than sufficient for preparing for GATE exam and the theory helps with ESE objective and in semester exams.

Quality was fine. Still reading to assess text.

Definitely the most popular and awesome book. Have 25 chapters and also MCQs (10 to 30 on each chapter, separated chapterwise). Got the 2019 reprint, 4th edition. Price mentioned no where. Has the hologram, seems genuine. Paper quality is good too. Has a wrap on front cover but that's not a big deal for me. Some people in reviews has mentioned that they got Xeroxed copy without hologram. My pages quality are not upto the mark but still ok. Ordered the book immediately when I saw this for 393₹ normally the price remains around 550₹ or something. After comparing the pages quality with an old 3rd edition SS Ratan (TOM) of Tata McGraw Hill, It is clear that the pages quality of this book are thin than other. But still not very bad. I have used a highlighter and it doesn't shows up much on next page. Hope you can see that in picture uploaded (pg no. 35 & 36) QR codes work fine which are given inside the book at ends of chapters.

Best book for machine design, it explains theory in an excellent manner.. And it adds problem in each chapter on the basis of difficulty level.. This book covers all the topics of semester as well as gate examination
