This crank shaft sensor fit right in my 96 Chevy Cheyenne 1500 5.0 v8. The crank sensor ended up not being my problem but so far I have left this part in the truck. I have a much higher priced sensor from autozone that I used this sensor to test against in my toolbox. I went through the list of problem's fuel pressure regulator, fuel spider, fuel pump, CRANKSHAFT sensor, and camshaft sensor. I'm thinking my problem ended up being the rubber type seal around the camshaft sensor. Think the lack of the rubber type seal was letting condensation get into the distributor after it sat for a day most of the time. But anyway this item was a perfect fit and works for a great price.

Replaced the old with the new and my van started right up

I bought this camshaft sensor thinking it would fit my truck cause it tell me it will fit a 97 chevy ck2500 but it don't I have prime and it still took 5days to come I took my old one out look at it and it didn't look the same I even took it to O'Reilly auto parts and match it up with there and they seen the different in size so I bought a camshaft sensor from them and took it home and it work really good if it not acdelco brand or oem don't buy it this part cheap and it don't works u get what u pay for it was $75 dollars for the part but my truck running.....
