Good Rear Speakers, Easy to install and use as long as you use the LG AP
I have these connected up to my LG SN7Y Soundbar connected to my LG OLED TV with HDMI Cable and it works fine generating rear sound which improves on the Atmos sound experience, the boxes Installation was nice and easy as long as you use the LG Sound Bar app. All I did was to connect speakers to the wireless controller, power this on and then use the LG Sound Bar app and then turn on rear speakers and they worked. The app lets you set your levels to get it right for the room as well. They are a luxury item if you enjoy your sound, the speakers are well made, slightly disappointed that they do not include a mounting bracket to easily fix these to a wall, there are screw points direct in bottom and rear of the speaker itself to allow for mounting.

Great surround speakers
I’ve had these for over a week now and after tweaking to get what I think is the best sound i’ve come to the conclusion these are great little speakers. A few reviews have mentioned different problems but i’ve had none, the most important thing to remember is to know when to turn the surround feature on or off, this is vital to get the best sound, if you’re listening to a movie or music with surround sound you don’t need the surround feature on or this will muddy what you are hearing, only use the surround feature if you want to make something that isn’t naturally in 5.1, atmos, 7.1 etc into fake surround sound, with the surround feature off you get exactly what is on the disc, I listen to a lot of surround sound music and have tweaked them to what I think is perfect. I have them 6 foot high and about 8 feet behind my listening area and have the volume levels as this, treble 0, bass 0, wf 2, c 3, ovc 6 and r 4, if you’re unhappy with your speakers try these settings, obviously they wont be great for everyone but if you start there and tweak to your own liking you should be much happier. They come very well packed, are easy to set up and look and sound great. I would recommend these to anyone considering getting into surround, it does bring movies to life although the atmos feature is underwhelming to me (but I just downsized from a proper atmos set up to the soundbar)Make sure the receiver is directly in line with the soundbar, people have mentioned the sound cutting out, i’ve not had this once but did make sure there were no obstacles in the way

Works well with LG Soundbar as long as you use the app
The mixed reviews almost put me off these, but overall I am pleased I took the punt. The sound quality and user interface is absolutely dependent on downloading the app. Out of the box you'll wonder why you bothered - poor volume, not totally wireless. Use the app to bring these to life! So, although technically wireless, they are wired to a piece of kit that talks wirelessly to your compatible soundbar. If like mine, they are to be installed either side of a sofa at head height then you can run the wires behind the sofa and you won't notice them. There are no wires to the soundbar. To get the best from these turn them up to volume 5 on the app, and while you are in the app turn up the sub woofer. You can achieve a very decent balance and these definitely add value to the soundbar system, and remember these are rear sound speakers, they are supposed to compliment the soundbar, not compete with it. For info - I have an LG OLED 65 TV, and the SL8YG soundbar which the rear speakers are fully compatible with. My reason for 4 stars is simply that I think they are a little expensive for what they are, but it's the only way to get rear sound with the sound system I already had. Hope this helps those who were in my position wondering whether to buy or not.

great little surround speakers
First of all lets address the negative reviews.1. The speakers need to be switched on via the app for any meaningful sound to come out.2. The app / soundbar does not need wifi to work, it can connect via blutooth, once connected you can control the soundbar via the app on your phone. Now the positives.Speakers / App allow better sound quality from the soundbar. It will never be all signing all dancing true surround offered by ridiculously expensive set ups but it definitely improves the sound of your TV and soundbar.Would I recommend. YES 100% for relatively little money you can get a surround (of sorts) package. It is true the speakers are connected via wires to the receiver so its not wireless in the sense that the speakers do not require wires, but the receiver connects to the soundbar wirelessly removing the requirement to run wires from one end of the room to the other.

Fantastic .
Paired with my sl4y this setup is immense.... I'm not sure how people can say these don't produce any sound ..... Hell I need to reduce the volumn on them. They have completed my home theatre setup and taken things to another level. Sound quality is unreal , linked straight up to my wireless setup , and if you've got an LG TV it all links up via Bluetooth meaning it's just so easy.I invested as I miss the cinema so much I decided to make my living room the next best thing.... Teamed with my oled 77inch films at home have never felt so good.
