This is a chrome-finished billet T6061 aluminum engine oil filler cap that fits many Mitsubishi engines that use a twist-and-lock style filler cap (uses a retaining tab and turns about 1/3 turn to lock into place). It features a heavy duty steel retaining tab on the bottom to help prevent it bending and getting loose over time. This helps prevent oil seepage even under high-boost applications on turbo engines. NOTE: This will NOT work with engines that use a screw-type filler cap (has regular threads on the bottom like a big screw) - confirm your application prior to ordering!
