Submarine Spy: The Mike Danford Adventure Series #1 Paperback – 1 January 2008

We have loved everything we have read by this author so far. At 16, my son may be technically older than the target age for this book but he read the entire thing in one day. His one regret is there is only one more book in this series he has not already read. We are hoping there will be more.

We used this book as a read-aloud each night for our 7 & 10 year old. Winner!!! Lots of action and adventure. Not preachy, but enough of a conversation about faith and how an 18 year old wrestles with sharing his beliefs without being hypocritical. Great book to read while we wait to return to Ytreeide's Advent series.

My 12 year old son does not like to read and only reads what he has to... he loved this book and even put his iPad down for this fantastic book! Have ordered the next 2!

My family loved Jotham's Journey so much that we looked for other books by this author for their reading. Jackpot!! My son (age 10) devoured this book. I couldn't tear him away. So, I picked it up to see why. It is a cliff hanger from the get go. It opens with Mike nearly getting killed by a run away boat and gets better from there. A must for any young boy.
