Secures batt-type insulation in place between joists. Chisel cut ends dig into joists for permanent holding. Easy to install in hard-to-reach crawl spaces. Pushes into place. Overall length is 1/2" less than over center joist spacing. 13 Gauge.

Not stiff enough
Bend way too easy, not nearly as stiff as the last batch I got.

Worked so easy...
This solved the problem of the insulation falling down in my basement. Really easy to instal, was able to do it myself ( 64 year old woman)....

You need these many for 20 year old house to fix insulation

Too short for i-joists.
These would be much better at 17 inches long vs 16, especially when using to support insulation between i-joists. The tops and bottoms are spaced at 16, but where the insulation actually goes, you are right at 16" so they aren't very tight and fall out.
