Dog Support & Rehabilitation Harness - Mini Sling

Bought for 9 pound, 14 year old dachshund Pip who loves his walks but needs support because of balance problems. He had back surgery when he was 3 years old from IVDD and did well until became aged. This works very well for him; he seems to understand it helps him and adapted to its use immediately. I ordered him the smallest size and it adjusted perfectly for his girth as well as the leash's length adjusting for my 6'6" son to walk Pip with the needed support. Wish I'd had back when he had surgery and was learning to walk again. Neoprene sleeve works well for softness against him and yet letting him pee without wetting it or him. Wish the sleeve were slightly narrower but probably not possible with the neoprene with his small size. I ordered a "used-like new" for the savings and again was very pleased with quality. Certainly never used, looked as if never out of box and it had never been adjusted for another dog/owner.

The media could not be loaded.  We used a ginger lead in combination with a good harness to help our dachshund with spinal injury learn to walk again. The ginger lead helps to support the hind legs when needed without hindering the dog's movement. The lead is well made, is comfortable for the dog and has adjustable length straps for tall or short humans!

The media could not be loaded.  My Coco got diagnosed with IVDD and was having a flare up that impacted her balance and rear leg strength. She loves her walks and was struggling to enjoy them mas she used to. I looked for something that would give her support but also give her freedom to enjoy her walks again. Here she is about a month of using this harnest leash and she is running and enjoying her walks again. I think this leash also gave her the support she needed to rest the areas that were over worked and helped her build her strength back up safely. I’m struggling to keep up with her now!!The xs worked perfectly for her and she weighs 16 pounds. We got the small at first but her waist is trim so we sized down and this was much more streamlined for us. The leash is easy to use, and surprisingly Coco took to it without any coaxing. She hates clothes and likes to be able to wander on her leash. I honestly think she knew this was to support her and she never fussed with it. I think it’s worth a try. I only wish there was a way to give her more length but that’s hard to do while also giving her the extra support. For now, I pick up my pace to keep up with her and I’m happy to do so. Flexible but sturdy quality, simple blue color.

It works good for what it is. It's a little cheaply made for the price. It's like $2 worth of materials. It's a little hard to make it stay in place. I put some electrical tape on it. It does work though and my dog with weak back legs can #2 comfortably.

The harness was exactly what we needed for our small dog. It was well made and priced reasonably. Unfortunately we had to return it because even the smallest size was still too big on the hind leg end. Had it fit better it would’ve have been perfect for how we needed to assist our dog when walking.
