Nice set of hollow ground flatheads. Case can be challenging to open the case.
This set did not have the flathead bits (referred to as FB) I needed for a Taurus 605 revolver, which is annoying since Taurus themselves sell this identical set on their website. This set lacks a #6 FB #7FB and #9 and #10 FB which would be a perfect fit for the outside screws. In fact they completely skipped the 0.150 blade width. For the butt screw I used their included #39. #39 is 0.340 wide with a slot 0.040 thick. It worked ok but it left behind marks that I was there. I needed a #40 FB. All of these are included in the next kit size up, the 72 piece. Midway USA sells open stock 3 packs of a lot of the Wheeler Engineering flat bits I needed. I was tempted to just buy those instead since I don't need all these bits. The Chapman sets were even more limited in the smaller sizes of hollow ground flat head bits included in their sets. The Wheeler bits do a good job if you can find the exact fit you need. Some of the Taurus flathead slots widths fell directly between the best Wheeler options in which case I listed both since it would depend on the condition of the screw as to the best fit. This is thickness only, all of my recommended fits are perfect width wise.

WORTH EVERY PENNY
I have known for a while that I needed a good set of screwdrivers. Like most people, I have purchased plenty of cheap screwdrivers over the years. Invariably they will encounter a screw that was snugged up too tightly, and the El Cheapo screwdriver will mess up the screw head.Recently I purchased a pair of very high-end air rifles, one made in England and the other in Germany. There are a number of screws that need to be adjusted during the break-in period, and others that adjust the trigger pull weight. I wanted to be certain that these screws do not get damaged, so I began a search for a good set of drivers. This set, offered by Wheeler, seemed to offer a great combination of quality, sizes, good reviews, and an affordable price. It turns out I was correct in that assessment.I noted that some reviewers mentioned a magnet that holds the bit in place in the handle that keeps coming out. I was prepared to put a drop of epoxy on the magnet to hold it in place, but it appears that Wheeler fixed the problem. I have tried to get the magnet to come out and it will not. It's in there for good.Is this the best set you can buy? No, of course not. And if you are a professional gunsmith, I doubt you would be happy with this set. But for most of us, using these screwdrivers for all sorts of tasks, I highly recommend these. They offer a good combination of quality, assorted sizes, and usefulness, all kept in one convenient storage case, at a more than reasonable price.

Don't scratch up your guns
If you use the right sizes, the tips are durable enough to be used for many years. Wish I got this earlier so the screws on my guns aren't all stripped.
