This is a great tablet. I was hesitant to order a "non-brand name" but I have only been pleased with each if the features of this 10 inch tablet.First, it's really over 10 inches but decimals of inches don't mean much to me.What *does* matter is that they actually fit 10.x inches into a smaller case! No wasted space around the top and bottom. Just enough room for your thumbs on the sides.All this means less weight to hold while reading or browsing.Battery is amazing. I would get 2 or 2.5 hrs on my other tablet when it was new. I personally get about 5 to 6 hrs depending on how I'm using it and how I have the brightness set. My normal use get slightly less than 5 hrs. If I'm watching downloaded movies in a dark room with the screen dimmed I get 6. If I'm streaming, I get less because of the WIFI power consumption. Your mileage will vary of course.Did I mention price? There are cheaper ones but this one was about a third of what I paid for my last tablet. I compared these features against the other offerings, and i felt comfortable making the decision to buy this one.Also clever - they put the power and volume switches on the extreme right hand side of the top. Seems obvious for a world full of right handed people. OK, so they could apologise to the Lefty's but s/he have had it their way for years, right?The box it shipped in completely protected the tablet. I guess it may be weird to some, but it always makes me feel good about a purchase when I see that the manufacturer was willing to spend some cash to get it to me in perfect conditioning. If you buy one, make sure to remove the hard-to-see front and back protective plastic coverings. Don't turn on your tablet until you remove the back covering: it blocks the air vents.Lacking:1) It seems that the world is changing to the new right/left-don't-care power sockets. That would be a good addition.2) A case especially made for this tablet and sold by AOSON, or give the specs to other manufacturers and help them market a case. Because it is smaller and thinner (and that's a very good thing to me) I will have to spend the time to find a case that will fit. Until now I haven't worried about it and the tablet has made a couple of international flights with me. It's pretty rugged all by itself. And! Remember that long duration battery time? Man did that come in handy.I *would* like to protect this tablet from scratches. Now. Where did I leave my measuring tape...?Best of luck to you.

Nice and reasonable for the price. For $79 I get a decent screen, the ability to run Android and wifi/bluetooth. I am not using mine for high end stuff. Remember this is a $79 device, not a $500 device. I am using mine to display the feed of my security cameras, and send music to my bluetooth amplifier, which gives me a nice 10 inch screen to run Amazon music on. First one I bought didn't work, contacted the seller, they were VERY polite, apologized and replaced it. They were so polite that I decided to buy 2 more, so I"m running a total of 3 of these mounted in random places around the house to control music, etc. No problems for the last month. Again for $79 they're a bargain!

DOANo power On and very disappointment with this choiceI researched the reviews before buying and all where promising and good But today there's same defects noted and low rating commentsIt's cheap in it's casing and seems light and fragile to be easy screen damage if it dropped once Idon't know it's quality in features never got to see anything on it's screen .Hit or miss with this one I think. Shipping was fast and packaging was personal and professional but lacks it's product promise 🙁

In addition to what others have written about the terrible speakers, this thing stinks on a whole 'nother level. Any media on an SD card? Forget about it. Completely hit and miss whether it will open or play them. One moment it will, next it won't. Completely unpredictable. Want to transfer files? Maybe, maybe not! No matter the means. WiFi, USB, SD card, doesn't matter. I've been struggling with this from day one. The only reason I still have it is I'm too slow to give up on something. Too late now. For me. SAVE YOURSELF. RUN FAR, RUN FAST!!!!!!!!!!

Update June 2: I'm bumping up the rating to 3 stars, not so much for the tablet quality but for the great customer service. They accepted my return and gave me a full refund even though it was outside the return window. Nice to find a company that stands behind their products. I may reconsider buying from them again.Update May 28, two months in. The port for the headset has died, of course now that I'm past the return window. Used by adults only, never dropped. Speaker never worked well and now we can't use a headset. I wish I could give it zero stars. It overheats and shuts down if we try to use it while it's charging. Worst tablet purchase ever. Don't buy it. Don't have my regrets. Find a better one. I will never buy another Aoson product.Original review in March:Nice screen. So far it seems to run well. Things seem to load reasonably quickly. Just got it today so we haven't played with it a lot yet.The reason for 3 stars (see update below re why it's now only 2 stars)? The speaker is pretty crappy. Sound is VERY low. Even with the volume turned fully up on both the tablet and in the app, you really can't hear anything unless you plug in an internal speaker or use a headset. So far we've tried YouTube and Netflix and both were too quiet to hear without speaker or headset.It's fine for emails, game play (if you don't care about sound), surfing the web and any apps that don't require sound. I wouldn't recommend this tablet for streaming unless you're always going to be using a headset. Unfortunately we're big on streaming here so the speaker is a big disappointment for us. Maybe that's why the price has dropped from $120 to the $77.90 we paid.The speaker on the Acer Iconia tablet we have is much better.Update several weeks later: Now it's overheating and shutting down when I'm playing games. Also over time, I've noticed that this thing is pretty heavy. I'd probably go back to a smaller tablet than this one for that reason.Their customer service contacted me after reading the initial review. I replied back, then they went quiet. I'm dropping the rating down to 2 stars due to the overheating issue. I don't recommend this tablet.
