Christmas in Enchantia

This book enchanted ( forgive the pun ) me! Darcy Bussell writes beautifully, and this is a good Christmassy read! It is Christmas eve, and Delphie is tingling from the top of her hair bun to the bottom of her magical red ballet shoes! She was going to perform s Clara in The Nutcracker ballet show that her ballet class was going to put on! Just as she was about to step out on stage, she goes to Enchantia to find that the Christmas eve ball has been wrecked by the King Rat! Can she save the ball? Or will King Rat's plans succeed? Cheap stocking filler. It’s in a series that my daughter reads independently.

Bought this book expecting it to be in a ‘good’ condition as described, however on arrival it is taped and written on. Not what I would call good unfortunately.The series of ballet books however my child loves and I would recommend.

I buy these for my daughter who is a mature 7 yr old, absolutely loves them, great reading level, she probably started properly free reading about 6 - 8 months ago. Challenging enough to develop her reading, yet easy enough for her to follow and enjoy the stories by herself. Great to be able to collect the series, further motivating the reading!

My daughter hadn't been interested in reading chapter books until she discovered the Magic Ballerina series - she can't put these books down.
