Having an Iron Shoe on your Iron is a necessary. They protect whatever you are pressing from burning or iron shine.

Used product for pressing seam, darts and pleats with sewing. Product not durable. Spring breaks through with repeated use. Need to take off if not required.

This has been a game changer for me. I was so tired of having to constantly clean the bottom of my iron because of sticky residue from sewing projects. This has helped not needing a pressing cloh to protect different materials and no shine from over heating my fabrics either. Love it.

It’s hard to know if your own iron is hot enough or too hot, more the case with hotel room irons that may also have a burnt film on the surface, this eliminates both issues. However- DO NOT use the steam setting on the iron as the steam will hit this cover and drip water all over your garment. Leave the iron dry and dampen your garment with a damp cloth before ironing - works perfect
