Everything was as needed, just wish it came with a few new screws

The media could not be loaded. First I want to start off by saying that the batteries are a perfect fit for the cartridge. On the top right corner of the motherboard you can see what battery you should be using and in this case for a Game Boy Color cartridge it is a CR2025. I got my hands on a Pokemon Crystal version that no longer had save functionality so I decided to fix it myself with my soldering kit. Doing the research for this is easy and the replacement was quick. In the photos attached you can see what it looked like when I got it (missing the battery) and what it looked like after soldering the battery on. After I was finished, I tested the game by creating a save state and it worked perfectly! Overall very happy with this product! It is very inexpensive especially with the amount of batteries that come in the pack. I now have way more batteries than I actually need but, this is more of a positive than a negative because I have enough to fix any cartridges that come my way.

10 batteries plus the tools you need to get started fixing your gameboy games. You get a great bang for your buck.You will obviously need a soldering iron. But these are fairly easy to install.The pins are the right size for the most part. Some specific boards may require a bit of trimming, but in general, the pins are the right size. I would rather trim than have the pins too short. So this is not a negative, just something to keep in mind. Keep a pair of electronics clippers nearby just in case. But I have only had to do this for 1 game so far.As for longevity. I have no idea. Only time will tell. I personally hope to get 10-15 years out of these batteries.If you are changing a lot of games, go ahead and get both 1616 and 2025 sized batteries.When soldering do not touch the tip of the iron to the rubber on the battery. It will melt. Adjust the angle of your board to avoid this.

Replace the battery on three of my games about a year ago and the battery life still going. Fits just like the old one.

Eunicell brand. All batteries tested between 3.18v and 3.33v, so they're in good shape and should last a nice long time. This is a good value pack of tabbed CR2025 batteries (which are kind of hard to find for some reason), gamebit bits and a tri wing screwdriver. You'll need a 1/4 inch bit driver to use the bits.With that being said, know what batteries you need before ordering this. Not all Game Boy/ Game Boy color games take the same battery. For example, Pokemon Silver comes with a 2025, so these batteries will work with that. Look up what battery your game needs first.

I used this to replace the battery in my Pokemon Yellow cartridge, the original battery is a CR1616. The CR2025 is a fair bit larger than the original battery, which makes it difficult to solder correctly.It does however work correctly once installed.

This really does exactly what it's supposed to. The tabbed design is super convenient and fits right in. You may need to trim the tabs a little for some games, but flush cutters or wire cutters will do that no problem. Two gen 2 Pokemon games already rescued - saving and keeping time just like from the factory - with potentially more down the line!One warning: don't rely on the bits alone for opening and closing the games. From the factory, the bolts holding the cartridge together are rather stiff, requiring more torque than I could make just pinching the bits in my fingers; make sure you have a driver that can accept the bits, or a dedicated driver for these types of bolts. Since I had a dedicated driver this wasn't a problem for me.

These are perfect replacement batteries for GB and some GBC games. They are exactly as described, high quality, and even come with the tools to open the cartridges. Note, that to install these you must have a basic soldering tool and know-how. You cannot just pop a battery out and stick a new one in, unless the cartridge has been modified/upgraded previously.Excellent product, and I have already bought a set of their CR1616s for my other GBC and GBA games that use them.
