Stop paying "highjacked" prices for...
Kerosene. That is all this IS. Do the math and see that you are paying 50 US dollars a gallon for a product that is less than 3 US dollars a gallon when purchased at a local dealer.I think Forrest Gump said it best; "stupid is as stupid does".

No smell, better than "ultra-pure"
Other paraffin-based lamp oils cause a smell. This does not, and it burns brighter. This is not labeled "paraffin" but I assume it is. Paraffin is purified kerosene, primarily meaning you want sulfur removed and you want the lighter molecules that burn brighter. Not all paraffins are created equal. This is the only good one I have personally found, and it's just as inexpensive as the "ultra-pure" that stinks. Ignore the "this is just kerosene!" review. 64 oz should be $8 to $15. It doesn't say "kerosene" or "paraffin" on the bottle, just "class 3A combustible".

burns clean, no odor or soot when proper flame height
This oil is very clean. Smells similar but more "thicker" than kerosene. I think this is more refined kerosene. Your lantern should never be sooting/smoking or have black stains on the glass. Light it, turn the wick all the way down to nearly out to reset the wick, then slowly start raising it. Keep it low for a minute until it warms up then raise the wick higher. Ideal flame height is about an inch, not much more. any larger and the flame gets yellow and will eventually smoke. youre burning too much fuel. Flame should be about an inch. Been using this lamp oil for 3+ years, never any issues. Definitely burns clean. Slight odor if you have the flame very small. But at normal burn, no odor.
