Little Fairy Can't Sleep

My second graders loved this book. We have a beautiful classroom fairy garden and my students read this book aloud to other students who came in to see it.

My 4 year old daughter and I love this book. The colors and illustrations are just beautiful. There is a little bit of awkward phrasing because of the translation, I'm assuming. The owl was rude so she flew away. Or when she sees other elves or fairies she says "what are you doing?" No hello, how are you, etc... Kind of strange, but very German to be so direct. All of these things can be overlooked because the over all story is lovely and the art is stunning. I will be ordering more books by this author/illustrator soon. I might even try to get some German versions to read to my daughter.

Not my most favorite book by this author, but it was still very sweet with sweet and beautiful illustrations, too.

Beautiful, enchanting artwork that draws you into its world. Food for the soul of child and adult alike! A delightful gift for my niece - I would have liked to have kept it for myself!

These books are beautiful. A little small for the price but beautiful nonetheless. If you love faries and would like to enchant little people with beautiful artwork and a sweet story then I highly recommend!
