Good value for money and good quality

Great little boxes for storing my (many) wound bobbins in! I have been using silicone circles/dishes bought from my local sewing shop for nearly 15 years but they have become soggy and the bobbins kept falling out, but these are good. The opening mechanism is simple but maybe a bit stiff to start with, need to be careful you don't tip the bobbins out. The empty bobbins that come with the box aren't suitable for my ancient Janome DC3050 sewing machine but as other reviewers have noted, they are obviously OK for other machines they specify. I now have three so that similar colours are kept together.

Wound all the bobbins one afternoon, but two split when approaching full load. Could not repair bobbins or transfer the thread onto another bobbin, so thread wasted. However, box that bobbins came in was opaque and sturdy, unlike others I have had via Amazon, that were clear plastic but very brittle. Overall, good value for money paid, but not excellent!

Got these for my Brother PS-55, they fit perfectly and are far less than the original ones along with getting a storage box meaning you can store made up bobbins without tangles.

Just what I needed. Good supply of spare bobbins, in a handy little case.
