Correct part, freezer is working again, fast delivery. It took a little bit to get the cover and wires off but I got them in.

Tiny part solves BIG common problem
One day I had a feeling to go check on the Hotpoint mini freezer. As soon as I lifted the lid I could tell it had recently shut down and began to defrost. It was plugged in but not operational. I was pissed because the unit was only three years old and it was packed to the top with meats. I removed the access cover and placed my hand on the compressor and felt it was very warm to the touch. But not HOT. However, it was not running. I unplugged the freezer to avoid further possible damage. My first thought was to go out and get a new freezer. Then I decided to diagnose it instead. So I watched a few YouTube videos and learned about a common problem that seemed to be my problem now. I thought for ~$10 I would take a scientific wild ass chance rather than spend $200+ for a whole new unit. I did not panic and took some of the meats out and placed them in the kitchen freezer. Then I placed several bags of ice on top of the contents in the Hotpoint mini freezer. This ended up saving everything while I waited about a WEEK for the part to arrive. The part came and I had some degree of doubt it would not work. I swapped the wires over to the new relay and plugged it onto the compressor assembly and plugged the freezer into the wall outlet.... The compressor came on right away and the freezer is working as though nothing ever happened! Like new!! WOW. So what I did was order another relay part to have on hand in case this one craps out in the future (since it's a common problem). Man, am I happy! So, I recommend buying a second relay as well. The installation is very easy to perform. The part is cheap.
