Most other usb cameras may have higher megapixle counts, but this has a better picture due to the larger sensor and also has h.264 onboard which makes for less load on the system. Especially good if you need to run multiple cams.

I got these cameras for robotics and for that application they're great. They're easy to mount and worked right out the gate. They didn't come with software but you can use Python and my programs recognized them as cameras without any fanfare to speak of.

Garbage 2MP camera from 2022, likely older cause the output quality is terrible, tried every possible setting and the best I can get is what you see in review, don’t waste time here no where worth $40 let alone $60+ on Amazon, you’re getting finessed, don’t be me

This is a really cool little webcam that is super easy to set up and use. It has an extra long USB cable hard wired to the camera itself, it's a 2 megapixel camera which isn't huge but it delivers an excellent picture. Works with the native camera app on your PC, no extra drivers or software to install, you can take snapshots, stream, record, and that's all I need it for. Literally plug and play, it's ready to go about ten seconds after you plug in the USB cable to an open port on your machine. I am running Windows 11, no problems whatsoever. Simple is great!

This camera has been working pretty well so far. The picture quality is better than we expected. It was easy to install, with a nice basic look. We've used it with a Rasp Pi and it is pretty easy to mount. I would've preferred if there were a few more accessories like a tripod at this price, unfortunately there aren't really any accessories included. Overall though, this is a fairly good deal, especially if you can catch it on sale.
