Excellent hitch pin! I don't know if it was changed but the pin length is not an issue - I measured it and it's 3.25", easily enough to fit all the hitch receives I have, including a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Also to address another concern someone had about needing 3 hands to lock it, you don't. When you turn the key in the lock, it stages open with the key in it so you only have to slide it on to get the key to release from the open position and lock onto the pin. Only 2 hands needed without any gyrations to lock it. Also I found the keys to be robust enough - I tried to bend them and they were plenty strong. Again I don't know if they changed this but I'd have to be seriously abusing these keys to bend or break them IMHO.

I’ve purchased other Tyger products before and appreciated the quality. This also seems very well built and I hope it holds up. It’s definitely got some heft and appears to be stout. The fit and finish is very nice. The sliding cover for the lock is a nice touch. Better than a rubber cap that can fall off or hold moisture. This fits perfectly on my SUV hitch and blends in nicely. It comes with 2 keys, so it’s good to have a back up.

I'm very satisfied with this, as many other people pointed out, you will probably want to get a few hose washers to drop on this to keep it from bouncing around. The other thing is the little lock protector tab seems pretty easy to break, but so far so good! This is a great product.

I absolutely love the fact I don’t have to worry about a rubber dust cap falling off with this product. The cap prevents any rust getting into the lock preventing the key from being able to unlock the device. I also like the fact that this fits perfectly into the hole and is strong. Also don’t have to worry about trying to find the key as this is different that all of the other.
