We got these step treads to help our dog get up/down a portion of uncarpeted stairs. She is not arthritic that we can tell, but over the past year we've noticed that she has become fearful of these stairs. So, we decided to try this product and it really has helped her confidence. She is now going up/down the stairs herself (still a little cautious), but I am seeing improvement every day. Another bonus of these carpeted treads is that they stay put without any adhesive or tape. We did not want a product that required anything which could damage the finish of the wood. And, the dark brown color blended well with our wood color. We can't speak to durability yet but so far so good. But for the price, it is worth it, IMO.

Got these when we moved our senior dog into a new house with uncarpeted stairs. So far they're great. My only issue is that I tend to drag my feet along the lip of the stair when I'm tired and it'll catch and pull the rug up. Not a product issue. Just a husband issue really. He placed them right at the edge of each stair. Eventually I'll either reposition them or ask him to do it. Just advising future customers not to install them in this way. :) other than that, the video review was the deciding factor in purchasing these. We haven't tried to wash or vacuum yet but I can confirm that everything else was accurate. They don't slide at all. Installation was tedious but that's to be expected if you have to remove plastic liner and place 15+ individual mats. We like them so much I also purchased some of the brands bath mats and plan on purchasing other rugs for entry ways and kitchen. Ok, one other complaint. I really wanted the floral pattern but we also needed landing carpets and the floral pattern only had the stair size. Would love to see more color/pattern options across all rugs.

I had these in my cart for a long time before actually buying them. I was afraid they wouldn't grip the stairs and would just be something that we trip over. I have wooden stairs that I wanted to make safer for my elderly dog and grandchildren. I am so surprised how well these work! I wish I'd bought them sooner. The stair treads lay so nicely flat on the stair and so far they stay put. I'm so impressed! I've only had them in use for a couple weeks so I'm not sure about durability. But the rubber backing so far sticks nicely!

These COSY HOMEER stair treads look great and feel soft, and the brown color works nicely with my wooden steps. I bought the 15-piece set and was happy with the size and overall quality. I originally thought the bottom had adhesive, but it doesn’t—it just has a slightly tacky surface meant for grip. While they stayed in place okay, I didn’t want to risk them shifting with kids and cats running around, so I ended up using some glue to keep them secure. Once fixed, they’ve been great—comfortable, quiet, and much safer. Just be aware you may need to secure them more firmly depending on your needs.

The media could not be loaded. I recently rented a row home in Baltimore. So our house is very tall and skinny and has very slick hardwood steps. Although my dog is pretty young and didn’t seem to be having too hard a time on the stairs, I didn’t want him to slip and tumble. I bought these for the main staircase in our house since that is the one my dog uses the most often.So far, so good! I just installed them, so I can’t speak to their durability yet, but the installation was super easy. I saw other reviews saying the plastic backing was hard to remove, but I didn’t think that was the case at all. I used my hair dryer like the instructions suggested and the backing peeled right off. I really like how the bottom is grippy, but not adhesive. It seems sturdy— like it won’t move as people and dogs are coming up and down the stairs. But it was also easy to adjust and center as I was installing. We are also renting our home, so I imagine it will be easy to remove them in 2 years when our lease is up.I will say the edges are sticking up a little bit, but I am hoping they will flatten over time. I uploaded a video of my dog coming down the staircase that I have not added treads to compared to my dog coming down the stairs I installed the treads on today. The ones with the new treads definitely seem easier!

All 3 of our German Shorthair Pointers were slipping and falling on our wood stairs. My daughter told me about this product and we gave it a try. Wow! I can't say enough good things about this product! Easy to install, stays in place, looks wonderful and no more slipping for the dogs.

I have oak steps going into the basement, I purchased these to prevent slipping down the stairs. These carpet pads are awesome, they don't slide out of place because they have a tacky side that does not allow the carpet to move. Great when moving items down the stairs. The tacky backing doesn't damage the steps. I was impressed with the quality, comfort and durability. I am very happy with them and would recommend as a buy.

3 dogs: 2 large pittie mixes and a beagle. They come and go as they please with our doggie door to the large backyard so they sometimes have dirty paws. These pads have kept us from shampooing our stairs! Highly recommended! Would buy them again if I needed to. Very durable, perfect size, they still move somewhat when the dogs rush up and down but overall they stay in place.
