This was exactly what I needed. I was looking for a slate to paint on.

I searched everywhere for a real chalkboard and all I found were black coated boards that required chalk markers. Until I found these. They are perfect for my toddler granddaughter. You get 2 boards (1 for home and 1 for grandparents house). Real chalk works on both sides of the boards. They are large enough for a good long drawing session but are very lightweight and our petite girl loves to carry them around by the attached hanging strings. They are thin but good quality and the rounded design means no sharp corners. After months of use, including some drops on the floor, both boards are still like new with no scratches, cracks or breaks. Includes a small cleaning cloth but we find that a cheap rough wash cloth works better to erase clean the boards. Our toddler loves to clean the boards as much as she enjoys drawing on them.

Size is perfect for hanging on the tree in the front yard. I'm in a 100 mile fundraiser for horses and my husband is keeping track of my miles for neighbors.

Good sized and easily cleanable. The board did chip a tiny bit around the edges when I pulled the plastic off but only one one side and only a tiny bit. The quality is fine for the price, and they work perfectly for what I need them for.

Great product. It's sturdy and perfect to use as a teaching tool at my students' homes. Very useful for little ones to watch you write as you speak on a homemade chalkboard. Would highly recommend this for homeschooling or working on school homework with your kids.

Great value but did have small chips and cracks.

The boards would have been perfect for what I needed, but both were damaged upon arrival. Very disappointing.
