works fine
It didn't remove all spots, but helped.

Use only in well ventilated areas
I really enjoy detailing vehicles, and have an entire arsenal of different products. For carpets and upholstery cleaners I have used at least 4 different products and this cleaned just as well as the others. I used this on my truck to clean dirt and grease spots out of the carpeted floors. However when applying the particles of this cleaner that stayed in the air were so strong that it really irritated my nose and throat. The instructions tell you for lightly soiled areas to dilute this cleaner at a 3:1 ratio, however my truck had not been cleaned in over a year so I used the full strength. The instructions to use this product say to spray on surface, agitate with brush, and then pat dry with towel. Well when working in the foot well of a vehicle it is a kind of tight space. So after applying the product I reached into the foot well to begin agitating and drying. At that point the scent/fumes were so strong that I about gagged and was left with a burning sensation in my throat.Overall I would say it is a good cleaner, but maybe only use it in its diluted form. In the full strength form it is very strong smelling.

Didn't work so well on my rug
I do not know if I am expecting too much from this. My dog knocked over one of my potted plants and spilled both dirt and water on my rug, which has a mostly whitish background. It took out some of the dirt, but I can still see where the dirty water was.

Works well on organic stains. Suggest wearing gloves & opening a window or 2...
I have a 20 y.o. car that was likely driven by a senior citizen (or 2) prior to my buying it.I'm a long way off from being a senior citizen but I was looking for an inexpensive car that I wouldn't care too much about the interior getting dirty when I chauffeur my dog on his demand. This car came with some mystery stains and my dogs muddy paws just added to the mess.I thought I wouldn't care that the interior was looking more and more dingy as time went on but when my front seat started to look like my dog did his business on it (he didn't), it really bothered me.I didn't have much hope that I would find something able to take on 18 years of dirt build up from previous owners plus 2 years of my dog's abuse but I'm happy to report that I did and this product made it possible. This can be diluted but I knew I needed full strength considering what I was up against.Surface dirt came off with minimal effort. Just some minor rubbing back and forth with a clean white rag (be sure to use white rags so you dont end up with any dye transfer).I had to repeat the process 2-3 times (I can't remember) so I ended up using a decent amount of product by the time I was done. The big brown mystery stain in the back seat required elbow grease plus several applications but the stain is completely gone. Like you can't even tell that it ever existed. There were a few mystery stains that it had zero effect on. But not knowing what they're from would limit the efficacy of most, if not all, upholstery cleaners so I dont see that as a reason to deem this ineffective. I think it works great for 'organic' stains, e.g. surface dirt, grime, coffee, etc. The smell, however, leaves much to be desired. Thankfully it doesn't linger but ventalation is a must while using it. My throat was irritated because like an idiot, I only had one car door open when I sprayed it.Also, next time I'm def going to wear gloves because this dried out my hands something wicked. I hope my humble opinion helps you in some way. Thank you for reading.

Works great for simple stains
I was excited for this stain remover but it didn't remove tough stains that my normal more generic cleaner does. I spilled red wine on the carpet and this did not remove the stain, but my normal stain remover ( commonly used with clothes stained ) worked to get all red residue out of my brown carpet. For dog urine this product worked great, but needed to be really worked into the stain. Product was just okay for me.

This stuff works well but leaves one heck of a chemical odor...
This stuff works well. I had some deep dirt stains caused by my kids. I was surprised at how clean they actually came without much effort. This helped lift everything and allowed me to scrub them out without much effort. This left a very chemical smell for weeks though. I redid the seats and scrubbed them with my steam cleaner after and it worked out much better. The seats came completely clean, and the smell wasn't there after a day or so. I will gladly use this every time I clean the car.

Smells and cleans great!
This stuff worked wonders on my dark upholstered car interior, and smells amazing. It removed some dirt/mud stains I didn't think would ever come out!

Works well on some stains
I used this product on an old stain in the back of my Prius, and it did a good job where previous attempts had failed. I tried it on my hall rug with less amazing results, but still it did better than my other rug cleaner. So I would say , it is not a miracle product, but it is a good product.
