Perfect for fixing a leaky water heater and significantly cheaper than the local hardware stores.
This is just what I needed. Hot water heater started leaking one day after my wife had run the dishwasher a couple times in a row. I did a little research and figured out it was the pressure switch so I checked out Lowes and Homedepot online and the part was almost double the price of Amazon and their parts both had lots of complaints. I opted for Amazon and everything worked out great. I was nervous after removing the old switch because the the probe on my old broken switch was about an inch and a half longer. I called a plumber supply shop and pretended I bought it from them and asked if it mattered and they told me that as long as it fit, it would be fine (I know a bit unethical but I was up a creek without a paddle). This switch fixed my leaky water heater and two weeks later everything is working great. I would definitely buy from Amazon again.

Made in the USA
Had to get the first one replaced because it leaked at temperature. Second one is performing as it should. Pleasant surprise that the box states Made In The USA. 12/2

Bradford 50 Gal Gas Unit
Perfect replacement for my oem leaking TPR on a Bradford 50 gal nat. gas tank. Simple install... turn down the temp or turn off the tank for an hour prior. Turn off water and electric to the tank. Connect a hose to the bottom of the tank and open valve to drain about a 1/3 of the tank. Make sure you open a hot water tap in the house to allow for air flow in the tank. Once partially drained, remove the old TPR and replace. Use teflon tape on threads (this one comes with it pre-applied). Turn water back on and make sure you have all air out of the tank by opening all hot water taps in the house and running them until free of air. Close hot water taps, turn gas valve back on and set thermostat to desired temp. Turn on electric and enjoy a leak free tank. Super simple.
